It had been a month since Luke and Jade had taken Orellon II. The natives felt safe in the hands of the Republic. Luke and Jade had gone back on board the cruiser, watching from afar, planning their attack on the Separatists on Bastooine. Captain Vayne had remained on planet.

It was a normal day at the Republic Outpost. Vayne and the other clones were doing their normal check-ins. Every order they received, they followed. They were built to do so. They questioned nothing, as all good soldiers do.

"Vayne, this is Luke, Separatist cruisers have entered the system, invasion is imminent. Keep the soldiers ready, keep the inhabitants feeling safe. This system is key to Republic supply lines. Den out." Great... This is just what Vayne needed. Time to go back to war. He replaced his helmet and radioed the outpost. They carried out Commander Den's orders to a T.

"I want a squadron of TX 130s around the perimeter of the native settlement. Get the AA guns up and running, power the AT-TEs." Vayne would never let this outpost fall as long as he was still breathing.

They watched as the carriers descended onto the plains. They deployed a vast number of B1s. This battle would be won quite easily compared to the previous one.

Vayne and other troopers took cover as the droids came marching in. When he gave the signal, a small concentrated EMP went off in the center of the droids, deactivating the first squadron instantly. The AT-TEs were online by the time the second squadron reached the outpost. They blasted the droids, creating a small crater where they once were. Bombers began flying over head, the AA guns blasted them down. Any droids that made it through the clones defenses were blasted by the TX-130s.

By the end of the week Captain Vayne radioed Commander Den telling them of their success. Den gave him the news that they were going to being the capture of Bastooine, ridding the system of the Separatist threat once and for all.
