𝕺onagh yawns, resembling somewhat of a groggy cat as she stretches as best she possibly could in the cramped corridor.
The triumphant high of Quidditch had slowly declined over the past couple of days, majority of the castle embracing Gryffindor's win and moving on. There's still one or two clinging on, searching for happiness in these dark and difficult times, everything else back to normal.
Which means back to studying, lengthy classes and work.
The Hufflepuff had just endured a long hour of charms with Flitwick, who seemed to be adamant to keep tabs on Oonagh throughout the lesson, making it impossible for her to nap like she usually does. Perhaps she could sleep a few winks in Snape's lesson, he's usually focused on bickering with Potter or being buttered up by Slytherins.
Fortunately for her, she spots sight of some overly touchy and visible canoodling near the door, unsettling her stomach greatly, Lavender Brown practically clinging to Ron with hearts for eyes after the apparent heated snogging session they had at the Gryffindor after party.
She was quick to glance away when the curly haired girl pinched his cheek, this time happening to catch a glimpse of pure silver, directly opposite in the dimly lit corridor.
Draco quirks a questioning brow at her grimace, following her darted gaze back to Ron and Lavender, his nose wrinkling up as he observes her attempt a butterfly kiss. Largely understood, he nods, returning his focus back on the brunette across.
He's surrounded by his friends, just to the left of him, chattering about something he's not mildly interested in. They're still sour from the loss, pinning blame here and there, Draco's bored of it. So whilst he waits for the lesson, he continues to stare forwards to Oonagh, who in turn, stares back lazily.
His pale eyes flicker pointedly downwards, a smirk teasing at his lips, then tapping at his emerald and silver tie, confusing Oonagh immensely. She glances down herself, too tired for this, blue eyes snapping open wide when she finds only the white of her shirt and then the woolly grey of her sweater.
Her own tie she had loosely knotted only hours earlier, was now missing.
"The fuck?" She whispers, twirling on the spot to see if it had somehow dangled and fallen to the floor when she was stretching. No such luck. It was nowhere to be found.
A familiar snort distracts her from retracing her steps in her head, slowly lifting her head once more to Draco, looking very much pleased with himself. Then, out of the corner of her eye, a flash of bright colour, and she finally spots it.
There, dangling from a ring cladded hand, her Hufflepuff tie.
How he'd managed to steal it for his own possession without moving an inch and her noticing was utterly beyond her. Sly snake.
