𝕷una glances over the top — or bottom — of the latest edition of the Quibbler, observing breezily,
"You're very happy"
The observation was dedicated to Oonagh, who felt like she had been smiling none stop since a certain pair of lips had caressed her own. The Hufflepuff was up in her feels, floating high off the ground with her head in the soft clouds. Luna wasn't the only one who had noticed, there was Hermione and Ginny, the youngest Weasley also having started to join their odd group.
Oonagh offers a simple shrug, cheeks warming up under the inspecting gazes of the three witches, "Aye, I suppose I am"
"That's nice. You're usually not in here" Luna hums, earning a snort of laughter from the two Gryffindors, grinning in agreement.
It wasn't a secret to anyone that Oonagh disliked the library, they had found out fairly early in this arrangement, much preferring to be in an empty corridor or outdoors. Being outdoors wasn't a favourite in the bitterly cold January weather. Oonagh was feeling acquiescent, Hermione had expressed her wishes to be in the library and she agreed this time. Ginny and Luna had OWLs this year to be studying hard for too.
A gasp emitted from Hermione's mouth, chocolate eyes growing big with almost excitement, questioning, "Is there something going on between you and Neville? He told us about what happened"
At the topic of boys, each of the three abandoned what they were doing, awaiting for Oonagh's response eagerly. Even Luna seemed to be quite keen to know the answer. She smiles at them, and shakes her head, Neville's lovely, sweet and a great Herbologist to talk to, but there will only ever be friendship between him and Oonagh, nothing more. Not quite her type.
Ginny and Hermione slump backwards in their chairs, looking disappointed at the answer, like they had already placed their bets on the pair coupling up. Before their opinions where voiced, their attention was grabbed by the five Gryffindor boys walking down the aisle of the library, chatting quietly to one another after receiving a glare from Madame Pince that threatened them to quieten down or leave.
"I have to say i'm surprised Won Won's girlfriend isn't looped around his arm" Hermione mutters, gaze lingering on the red headed boy leaning to whisper something into Harry's ear, then grinning boyishly at the bespectacled boy's chuckle.
"His sweetheart" Ginny mocks, eyes rolling at her older brother. If she was to choose, she'd much rather have Hermione for a sister-in-law than Lavender Brown, with both her and Phlegm under one roof — it would be unbearable.
Oonagh and Luna shared a glance when instead of Ginny's stare drifting towards Dean, her boyfriend, it went to the opposite end of the group of Gryffindor boys, landing on Harry. It wasn't uncommon knowledge that Ginny had possessed a crush on him in her early years at Hogwarts, and she wasn't the only girl either, many wanted a piece of the Chosen One, especially this year. Something tells them that Ginny may be in for a better chance than any of the others though. Brother's best friend, it's sort of destined.
