Amelia smiled over at Severus as he opened his potions book.
"I wish I had a cool last name." Amelia remarked. "What would it be?"
"Your father just became the headmaster. Dumbeldore is a well known and respected name. It always has been." Severus corrected. "Im just..."
"You are more than just a half blood." Amelia assured her fingers covering the words. Half blood prince.

"Finals are coming up. Do you want to study together?" Severus questioned
"I would like that." Amelia agreed kissing the corner of his lips.
"You still studying with remus?" He mumbled getting to the right page as their professor get ready as well.
"You know i am. Hes not so bad." Amelia added softly.
"They are horrible." Severus corrected. Lucius pulled amelias chair closer to him as he took his seat.
"Look at you getting to class early." Lucius declared. "Wow. Last year and amelia is a changed woman."
"I am a woman. I dont know that i have changed however."

"Tom? Riddle?" Lucius questioned snatching away the letter from amelia.
"We write sometimes." She agreed grabbing it back.
"ABout what? He is so old."
"We are in our last year, Lu." Amelia countered. "We are basically grown ups."
"We are grown ups." Severus agreed. "At least I am."
"Ha, ha," Amelia said turning around.
"Where are you going?" Severus questioned. "We have history of-"
"Not going." Amelia called back. "I hate history, its such a bore and whenever they speak of Grindelwald they make him out to be a villain." Amelia added. "He is not. I love him and one day i will see him again."
"Amelia classes-" severus countered as he and lucius spoke over each other.
"Careful Amelia, Your father-"
"Albus will deal." Amelia corrected except she was called into the headmasters office for ditching history of magic all week.
Amelia walked into Albus office gum slapping between her teeth. She plopped down on the headmaster chair waiting for her father.
"Amelia." Albus said but she didn't acknowledge him. She keep chewing her gum blowing bubbles. "Amelia my dear. I heard you missed classes today."
"Yeah so?" She said the bubble popped loudly and she went back to smacking her lips.
"Amelia you can't miss history of magic. It's important." Albus told her
"No its not. Im not living in the past im living in the now and. For the fucking future Albus." Amelia sassed. Albus sucked in a tight breath. He hated that his daughter didnt love him. Didnt respect him. Didnt call him dad. Ever. Not anymore. He didn't know what changed, what shifted but he lost something magical he had with her.
"Amelia honey-"
"Can i go?" She questioned standing up
"Ame-"
"I will try and go to the snooze feast of magic. Okay?" She sassed heading out. "Hey Fawkes," the bird squaked at her as she left.
"You have still being studying with remus lupin." Albus countered and she hesitated at the door.
"Yeah so?" She answered not turning around.
"You fancy him?"
"Nonsense." Amelia corrected.
"He is a good boy. Smart... what other reason would you have for ditching classes but studying for the same class you are skipping with remus lupin?" Albus countered.
"Its really none of your concern-"
"You misses classes is. Your infatuation-"
"It is not an infatuation." She corrected spinning around to him.
"With Lupin-"
"Hes a werewolf. You know that i assume being all mighty. I think its cool. Thats all. I dont like him." Amelia seathed.
"Go to your classes. Its your final year. I would hate to have to hold you back over this."
"You wouldnt dare."
"Amelia. Dont test me."
She grumbled as she marched back to the door but he called out to her again.
"Amelia i know these years have been hard on you but i dont understand why. We used to be closer than this. Now all i seem to be doing is reprimanding you for missing classes or beating up gryffindors. I miss you darling girl."
