Chapter 11 - Encagement

"ah jayaus, that fella is still going."

After about 20 minutes, they were still on the chase. Paddy could only go straight, until he somehow got away from that mad man behind him, still on the chase.

He had managed to slow down the bleeding, but not stop it completely.

"ah here fella, i hope youre paying for my new socks."

He was definitely angry, as this time he didn't even give in to Paddy's remark, even though either one could possible collapse at any moment.

Paddy rummaged through his pocket until pulling out his card, and saw that he could just barely summon the 'Lighthouse' again.

"ah here lad, youre done for."

Nothing happened when he pressed it though.

...

Oh yeah, all their stuff was way behind them.

"ah fuck lad, we left our stuff back there  like half an hour ago."

The man cracked a chuckle at this comment surprisingly.

They kept limping and limping towards the mountain, until they heard a noise. Looking up, birds flew out of the trees, and they saw what seemed to be some sort of shooting black star come out of the treeline behind them. Upon closer inspection, they saw the two entities belonging to them respectively fighting it out in the sky, the lamp holding on to the now even bigger moth. Getting closer and closer, the two goliaths zoomed over both their heads in direction of the mountain.

Both of them collided with the face of the mountain, causing a large noise to echo around, and a large crack that began to tremour all the way up the mountain, after the lamp had its back slammed into the surface a few times. Some goblins of the army in the mountain that had come to investigate had been either killed instantaneously or ran away. Snow and rock began to fall down the mountain in the form of an avalanche at alarming speeds, which led to the clearing of more goblins. As the two titans fought with each other, the rest of the goblins that had remained had fled into the forest. Hearing noises not too far away, they encountered the comical chase of Paddy and the 'man with the moths', or 'moth man'.

As the man had moths around him, they pieced two and two together, and ambushed the two men with their weapons.

"ah, fuck."
"Fucks sake."

"sure i think were fecked now"

Paddy began to raise his arms in the hopes the goblins knew what surrendering was.

"No point in fighting in our current condition, when all our magic has up and left us."

The man followed in Paddy's footsteps, bringing his arms up into the air as well.

They were encircled over to two empty cages, big enough to fit people inside.

"ah fuck."

The two spoke in unison for the first time, making an educated guess as for what the cages were for.

Paddy awoke, presumably having passed out, either from the goblins or all the blood he had been losing. Whatever blindfold was on his face was tore off, and he was pulled out of his cage, in what seemed to be some sort of fancy looking room. His hands had been shackled the instance he got thrown out.

To his left, was the man who had it out for his lamp. He watched as he received the same treatment as him, except for his blindfold not being removed yet.

Paddy looked up and was greeted with some skinny pale white guy staring at the man beside him on his right. Paddy wondered what the fuck was going on now. Why the fuck was there some pale bastard kidnapping them, like who did he think they were, Jojo Dullard?

Just then, a rough voice echoed out through the room.

"You are in the presence of the Lord of the Mountain Pass, his Lordship and Supreme Sovereign over the goblin race, Lord White, of the Mountain Pass."
