Chapter 1-Unresolved Trauma

"What the hell is she doing here."I said with shaking fists, throbbing veins and a slightly clenched jaw.

"Skylar, she's here to seek forgiveness from you."My grandmother stated as she glared at me, waiting for me to accept her forgiveness.

"Seriously, after everything she did you expect me to forgive her just like that."I replied with clear annoyance in my tone of voice.

"Sky,please just hear me out."She stated in an annoyingly serene tone.

"Hear you out? You have got to be fucking kidding me."I yelled pissed at the words spoken by this woman.

"Sky,please just-"I cut her off before she could say anything further.

"If you want me to hear you out then bring them back."I replied.

"Sky,come on, just hear me out."Said that woman.

"The people you killed,the lives you took.Bring them back right now!"I replied as I had succumbed to the tears I had been holding back for so long.Suddenly,I felt long slender arms wrapped around me.

"I'm here for you Sky,just like I've always been."Said Mea as she comforted me in the warm hug I had always known and loved.
"D-Don't touch me"I said as I slapped her hand away from me and wiped my tear filled face walking out of the room.

A river of tears began flowing as I made my way up the stairs.Thoughts began rushing through my mind 'Why was SHE back?' 'Why Today of all days did she get released?' 'I hope I don't-'
Before I could complete my thought I suddenly felt lightheaded.

--------Time-skip to about Two Hours Later-----------

As I had awoken from my slumber,in a daze I could feel a sort of ataraxia falling upon me, something I haven't felt in a long time.Whilst the sudden calmness was nice, I had noticed I was in a completely different setting and couldn't see a thing other than what seems to be a subway door of some sort.

"Ah,You're finally awake,your highness." Said the mysteriously angelic voice.

"Your highness?" I questioned the seemingly young person as they questioned me.

"Your highness it would seem you have forgotten.Due to your father,King Hades' passing you took his place two years ago and became the ruler of the underworld"She replied as I simply gave a blank stare.

"Ruler?Underworld?Hades?As in Greek mythology?That Hades?"I asked, confused as ever.

"Yes that Hades.Don't you remember becoming the ruler of the underworld? I mean you were the one who challenged your father for the throne and defeated him."She stated clear confusion on their face.

"I got you didn't I?"I laughed as the seemingly young person was even more confused

"It was a prank.You should have seen your face."The young person seemed to get more at ease as I laughed my heart out.When really I am just playing along to get more information on this odd situation I am in.

The young person's left hand made a fist and in the blink of an eye made contact with my face. My vision blurred as i tried to fight the urge to close my eyes. I eventually gave in and was knocked out cold.
