Michael's p.o.v

On the road, I slowly drove to my house, still holding her hand. It was almost midnight, and we snuck up to my room, trying not to wake my parents.

She sat on the side of my bed as I closed my door, then sitting a few inches away from her.

"What happened?" I asked, looking straight into her eyes. "It's okay if you don't want to talk a out it. I understand."

"Well...." She started and trailed off. She explained how Luke appeared out of her closet and forced her to tell him what happened. How he asked if we did it and what the little rant she gave him.

"Then he fucking choked me," she said quietly, bursting into tears, burrying her head in her hands.

"Shhhh," I scooted over, wrapping my arms around her, trying to soothe her.

She just kept crying until the tears no longer fell from her bloodshot eyes. She was absolutely broken. No one should have to go through this.

"It's okay," I said rubbing her shoulders.

I woke up the next morning with a pair of arms wrapped around my waist. I looked down slightly, slowly realizing why Rachel's here. She looked so peaceful in her sleep. Her mouth slightly agape and soft mumbles escaping her lips.

I smiled to myself. I heard a door close, guessing my parents just left for work. I looked out the window, squinting at the bright light coming in.

And when I looked back down, she was awake and smiling, too.

"Good morning," I said.

"Morning," she said, yawning. She took hers arms off of me, and the spot were they used to be, now felt cold. She then sat up, stretching her arms and slouched back down.

"Where's the restroom? She asked, looking at me.

"To the right, second door to your left," I told her. She stood up, walking out my bedroom door and into the restroom.

She came out a minute later, smiling as she re-entered my room.

"What?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh, nothing," she said giggling.

"Tell me," I said standing up and she turned around, running down the stairs. I chased her, but we ended up going in circles when we got to the kitchen counter.

"Well played, Hemmings," I smirked.

"Pleasure," she smiled, laughing.

I turned around, smiling to myself and walked over to the couch, turning on the TV. I heard quiet footsteps, thinking Rachel was coming to watch also. But then it stopped.

"Ray?" I asked, turning my head around.

I was about to stand up when she jumped from behind the couch and started to tickle me.

"Stop it!" I pleaded while laughing, but she continued. I couldn't take it anymore so I gently pushed her back, and got on top of her to tickle her back.

"Oh my God, Michael, I can't breathe!" She screamed while laughing as I moved my fingers vigorously at her neck and waist.

I stopped after a while, letting her catch her breath. She stopped laughing after a few moments and we just stared into each other's eyes for what seemed like forever.

I leaned down to her, our noses barely touching.

"I really like you, you know," I said hovering over her. "Like, more than a friend. And as much as I was afraid to admit it, I couldn't hold it in anymore."

I leaned in closer and placed my lips on hers, kissing her passionately. It lasted for a while, and I pulled away, sitting back up-right. She sat up along with me, and stared at me again.

"What does this make us?"

A/N sorry, again for not updating, and for this cliffhanger. But I'm starting a new story called "The Demon Within" and it's a Cal one. If you're interested, I'm writing the first chapter. And I'll probably post it within the next few days. Thank you so much, I love you all
