I honestly don't think I can finish this story. I don't have the time, and no one even reads it. But if you do, I'll just tell what happens:

Michael and Rachel do end up dating. After graduation, the group spends a few weeks together before the boys leave for tour. All of them go except for Rachel, as she has college.

There was supposed to be a sequel called Thorns but I just can't persue it, though I have some of it typed up already. It continues with Michael and Rachel's relationship. Jake goes to the same school as she does tries to apologize for everything. Jake actually did love her; he's had a crush on her for years. His friends made him do the dare. Rachel denies him every time-she hates him.

During tour, Michael has a nightmare continuously every night and wakes up around 3 a.m. He dreams of his house ablaze, and a girl is trapped, screaming his name for help. As he tried to reach her, the roof collapses, killing her. The girl is actually Michael's half sister (his dad had an affair).

Ashley is her name. She becomes friends with Rachel, since they go to the same school. Michael hasn't heard from her since her and her mother moved to America. But the two reunite, basically creating a tear in the family. Daryl and Karen debate on a divorce, but stay for the sake of mending and bonding with Ashley.

Months later, Michael's nightmare is actually real. But he saves her this time.
Whilst at a club, Michael gets drunk and photos are taken of him with multiple girls. Rachel hears the news, and the two fight for days on end over Skype. Rachel throws the white flag (metaphorically) and breaks up with him. Both are devastated and more lonely than ever. Michael can't sleep, he's constantly crying/depressed.

Word gets around at her school, and one day when she's walking home from school, she gets kidnapped. Her abuser makes a call to Michael on her phone, showing him videos of Rachel tied up, beaten bloody.
He immediately books the first flight taking Luke with him while the tour is at a break.
They track the call, finding where Rachel's at. Once there, the two boys face a mountain of trouble trying to free her. The man in the mask tries to beat and tie Luke up as well, but Michael hits him in the head with a 4x4 piece of wood, knocking him out cold.

Untying Rachel from the ropes, taking the gag out of her mouth, Michael repeatedly kisses her face, her arms, everywhere. While saying "I love you" after each kiss. Luke goes to them and hugs them, crying.

"I'm sorry, Ray." He would say, and she would just cry hugging him.

"You're not staying here," Michael said after a moment.

The three go to Liz's house, she and Rachel packing their stuff to go on the tour with them. Liz comes in fear of being attacked by the same masked man after hearing about what he did to Rachel. Hours of crying took place when Liz was told.

While on tour, the gang is back together. Michael is happy he got his girl back, and everyone else is happy for him, and also that she's there. They're also happy Liz came along.

Years go by. Calum and Britney have been married for a few months with a baby boy on the way.

Ashton and Cheyenne are engaged.

Luke and Cassie unfortunately didn't make it. She moved away without a warning, and was acting weird a few days after the prom. She used him, and he was devastated. Luckily he's in a happy relationship with a girl named Karlee. They've been dating for a month, and everything is going good so far.

As for Michael and Rachel, Luke was the one to give them the blessing. They've been married for almost a year now, with a son named Ace and Rachel is 4 months pregnant with a girl.

So basically everyone is happy with how things turned out. They still hang together and Karlee is good friends with everyone else.

As for Liz, she's still in touch with everyone. All is well for her, and she sees them often.
No more problems, no more drama.

The band 5 Seconds Of Summer broke up after their 5th tour, but they still interacted with fans and did a gig every once in a while.

Ashley moved back with her mom, but is still in touch with everyone. She comes to visit every summer with her husband Ethan.

So pretty much everyone lives happily ever after.

Now the reason I can't continue this story is because I really don't have the time for it, as you can see I never update anymore. I have to focus on school.
And another reason is because I really just can't write this story. I've lost almost all interest in the band. Sure, I respect everyone who likes them, but I just don't feel crazy about them like I used to. Their songs still have a place in my heart, and so will they.
I'm sorry. I just can't continue..
