A/N thank you guys for 900+ reads and 100+ comments, it really means a lot. I appreciate it, and I love you guys!

"Like a brother."

I know, I expected something like that coming. But it still fucking hurt. Yeah, I know she loves him, but he doesn't love her like she believes he does.

I just wish she'd see, that I could do so much better than he ever will. I'll treat her like the queen she really is. I'll tell her I love her every time I get the chance. I'll make her feel so special, because she absolutely deserves to be. But most impotantly, I'll love her more than that dickhead ever pretended to. But it'll be real.

She's special to me, but she doesn't think so. She's so beautiful, and it hurts me to know she's insecure. Because to me, she's absolutely perfect.

I came out of my daze, and realized she was asleep. Her head, nuzzled in my neck, her legs intertwined with mine, and her right hand rested upon my heart.

With one arm around her waist, I used my free hand to stroke her beautiful blonde hair.

As much as I want to stay like this forever, I had to get up. I sat up, trying to get up without waking her.

As I succeeded, I did a little two step when I stepped onto the floor. (Yeah, I just did that)

I covered her with the kitten blanket, before walking out to the back yard to call Luke.

I dialed his number, and he picked up on the first ring.

"What."

"Damn, Luke. Hello," I snapped into the speaker.

"Well, you just ruined a perfect moment. Me and Cassaundra were about to-"

"Okayyy!!! Nevermind, didn't need all that. Bye!"

With that, I hung up.

"Nasty bastard," I said to myself. (No, I don't mean "bastard" in a negative way towards Luke because he has no father in the story, but you get my point)

So I walked back inside, then out to the front yard to my car. I unlocked it, grabbing our bags, then locking it and going back into my house.

*A few hours later*

"Uhh, thanks for cleaning me up," Rachel said as I pulled into the driveway of her house. "And for everything else."

"No problem," I replied, looking behind her.

"So I'll see you tomorrow?" She said, making it sound more like a question.

"Yeah, I guess," I said.

"All right, goodnight, Mikey," she said, grabbing her bag and getting out of my car.

"Night," I replied as I watched her walk away. And once she was inside, I started my drive home.

I took the long way though. I liked the feeling of the wind blowing through my hair.

Everything was quiet. The road had very few travelers, and the stars were bright, shining along with the moon.

And just in a matter of minutes, I was pulling into the driveway of my own house. It was silent, my parents probably asleep by now.

I walked up the stairs, almost tripping here and there, due to the lack of lighting. But I made it, and walked into my room.
