"She doesn't love you. She's moved on."

A man and a woman appeared. He got down on one knee, and pulled out a ring. The woman was Rachel. But the man, I did not recognize. He proposed, and she said yes.

"NO!!" I woke up in a jolt. Wiping the thin layer of sweat off my forehead, I looked at the time: 3:16 a.m.

I pushed the blanket off of myself, and walked to the restroom. I turned on the light, did my business and washed my hands.

I stared at my reflection in the mirror after washing my face, too, then drying it with a washcloth.

I looked miserable. It's like all the green was sucked out of my eyes. My face, paler than usual; my lips dry and my hair was all over the place.

I shook my head lightly, before turing off the light and returning to my room. Noticing it's still messy from earlier, I decided to clean it. (Yes at 3am)

I turned on the light and picked up everything. I swept away whatever I broke, and threw it away. Then I covered up the two holes with posters.

After cleaning, I just layed in my bed, staring at the ceiling, thinking about the nightmare. Up until 5 a.m, I kept trying to figure out who the man was. But I couldn't.

----

For the next two weeks, Rachel's been with Jake and his friends. Every time I get the chance to talk to her, he shows up, taking her away from me.

It's gotten so annoying to the point where I just seriously want to punch him.

And Luke doesn't even care that she's kept it a secret for so long. But when I do so as touch her, he wants to kill me.

So I'm walking around during nutrition, by myself, as I hear the voices of Jake and his friends. But Rachel isn't with them. She's with some girl called Caroline.

"Oh my God. Jake you should totally ask Rachel to prom. You know it's coming up in a few months. Act all lovey-dovey around her, and when the day comes, she'll see you with Allison," one voice said.

"Definitely. I hate pretending to love her. She's clingy as fuck. But the funny thing is, she actually thinks I love her," Jake said and they all started laughing.

"Yeah! You should make a big scene, asking her. Like, bring a poster, balloons and a big ass teddy bear. That'll make it seem real. Then when she sees you with Alli, she'll crack," a second voice said.

"All right. But after that, it's over. No more making me do a dare like this," Jake said.

"So you'll do it?"

"Yeah, I'll ask her tomorrow."

----

The bell rang and I quickly ran to class, not wanting to be caught eavesdropping. When I got there, Rachel was already in her seat. Perfect timing, now I can tell her what just happened. So I took my seat, which happened to be right next to hers.

"Ray. Ray. Rachel," I cooed as soon as I sat down.

"Hmm?" She replied, not even looking at me.

"Okay. Look. You will not believe what I overheard Jake and his friends talking about earlier."

"Oh, Heavens. What is it now, Clifford?"

"He's faking the relationship - the whole thing is a dare. His real girlfriend is called Allison. He's gonna-"

"Oh, save it. You're just saying that because you're jealous, huh. You just think you can start rumors, don't you?"

"Yes.....well no. Please, you have to listen to me," I argued. "At prom, he'll be with Allison. He and his friends just want to humiliate you. Please, Rachel. You have to believe me."

"Just be quiet. I don't want to hear it anymore. You're just trying to break us up. Stop lying," she said furiously.

"I'm not lying, I swear. I'm only telling you this because I don't want you to get hurt," I was practically begging.

"I......I love you," I whispered.

The bell rang and she turned away. She tore a small piece of paper and grabbed a pen from her bag, then began writing. When she finished she passed it to me.

It read:"If you 'love' me, then let this go. Please. I'm sorry, Michael, but things have changed. Get that through your head."

Rachel's p.o.v

Later when school ended, I was about to start my walk home, until I got a text.

Michael: Are you walking home?

Me: Uhh, yeah. Why?

Michael: Okay. Can I take you? Like, in my car?

Me: Yeah, that'd be great. I'm at the front.

Michael: Alright. Lemme grab something from my locker and I'll meet you there in 5.

I waited for what felt longer than five minutes. When I heard footsteps, I thought it was him, so looking down, I grabbed my bag and stood up.

"Finally, you took-"

"Shut the fuck up, bitch." Followed by a slap, a few punches and kicks, until I hit the ground.

A/N soz that was a lot of dialogue. I hope you all like it though. I always thought nobody would read it, but I have so many now. I just love you all and I can't thank you enough. I love you
