NOTICE: Please note that this was started a little bit before 5-Star's release and then paused and started up again sometime before Rock-Star so thats where this takes place. Things may be out of order and or jumping around a lot especially in the beginning, but I don't care enough to go back and make a direct timeline simply because things are twisted around to fit the story anyway.
While this does take place in a world where skz are still skz and real events are used (again, altered in ways to fit the plot), this is still a work of FICTION. This is all for gits and shiggles. Don't take it super seriously. Okay, begin.

A joke. That's all it was ever meant to be. Minho and Jisung messing around because it was just the kind of people that they were. It was meant to be harmless. Fan service. But then Jisung had to go and, in his own words, "fuck it up."
Here's how it sort of got started. Where Jisung noticed a shift in the atmosphere. A dumb question from the radio host, "who would be a great couple in your group?" And Seungmin's stupid answer, "I think Lee Know and Hannie."
Another dumb question, "Lee Know, do you agree?"
And another dumb response that came from the man himself, "oh, yeah, I think yes, I agree."
It was a stupid moment that made Jisung smile. And the smile wasn't necessarily the problem. He always smiled when he and Minho were messing around. Whenever the others would make some sort of "Minsung" comment or joke because that's simply what it was. A joke. The problem here was the fact that Jisung felt like he wanted to kick his feet. The problem here was that the answer made Jisung feel giddy. The problem here was that Jisung couldn't wipe the smile off of his face and he was forever grateful that he was wearing a mask or else it surely would have raised questions.
The radio thing was followed by Jisung deciding to do something more stupid by kissing Minho's neck on camera for a challenge. He wasn't fully thinking at the time, it was for the challenge to raise the older's heart rate, and also for the fans because he knew how much they loved the pairing between himself and the older. But what Jisung didn't expect was for it to not only work, but to like it. To like the sense of being so close to the older. To like Minho's reaction to it.
A moment from one of their concerts of Minho just so casually slipping his hand into Jisung's for a moment before they bowed. Too short of a moment. So short of a moment that Jisung almost squeezed the older's hand before he let go. He wondered if Minho hadn't let go of his first would he have let go in return? Or would he have continued to hold his hand despite being in front of thousands of people?
A lot of Jisung's problems stemmed from the tour. Him and Minho messing around on stage as a fucking joke on tour. And what Jisung knew really took the cake wasn't even the moment itself but was seeing a clip of it being spread around after it had already happened. After the concert had concluded.
The clip was from when he was sick and sitting off to the side. When Minho waltzed his way over to give the younger some attention like he normally did even when Jisung wasn't sick. And Jisung remembered the moment. Remembered the way Minho lowered his seat when he wasn't looking. A moment so harmless from what the producer remembered from his own perspective. A moment that Jisung was sure Minho also saw as harmless. At least until he saw a clip of it.
Jisung didn't remember it the way it was being shown online. He didn't remember that silly little smile he had on his face. He didn't remember looking at Minho in such a way. And to make matters worse, in his crisis, practically every bit of content being passed around in the stay community at that same time was clips of him and Minho at different points of the concert. Of the tour itself as a whole.
Clips of both Minho and Chan trying their best to include Jisung in the show even though he was sitting off to the side. Clips of Minho and Jisung messing around during Domino every night. Clips of Jisung saying how he and Minho were basically husbands on a livestream which was a surprise to Jisung because it wasn't actually from a show. Clips of Jisung responding to a fans poster asking about when he and Minho were going to get married and him answering by stating that they already had. Clips of Jisung taking Minho's hand, the older spinning him around. Clips of Minho stopping in his tracks on the outstretched part of the stage, just to look back and watch Jisung as he did his rap part in Miroh. Clips of him and Minho watching the fan-made video.
So, Jisung had noticed it before the U.S. part of the tour, really. Though he wondered if it may have been there even before the start of the Maniac tour all together, he was only certain that the tour made the whole situation worse. So much worse.
After arriving home, a sixteen-hour flight and a twenty-minute car ride later, Minho ended up following behind to Jisung's dorm to sleep that night, having asked the younger a few times before Jisung finally caved and gave permission to do so. The producer was clearly hesitant due to recent events, but Minho was not only stubborn but could be incredibly persuasive at times. So, when he caved, Minho smiled proudly since he knew before he even asked that he was going to get what it was that he wanted.
"Throw your stuff anywhere, I don't care right now," Hyunjin sighed as he walked in, leaving his suitcase in the middle of the living room the second he walked inside, too exhausted to care about the cleanliness of their dorm. Normally he was the one complaining about it being messy, but after the flight and car ride with all the traffic and jet lag, he couldn't have cared less about the dorm being a little more messy than usual.
And with Hyunjin's words, Minho ditched his own suitcase and grabbed Jisung's hand, surprising the younger before dragging him to the younger's room, "come on Hannie, I'm so tired."
"You know, the best way to beat jet lag is to stay up as late as you can," Jisung sighed, but he followed behind the older anyway. Not like he could get out of it anyway; Minho was dragging him. And not only that, but Jisung didn't really mind the older one pulling him along. He liked spending time with the older. He pretty much always had.
"Then we can stay up comfy in your bed, then, let's watch YouTube on your TV," Minho stated simply, shutting Jisung's bedroom door after they'd entered.
"Ilino," Jisung chuckled, the older one looking back at him with curious eyes like he said something odd, but it wasn't really. The nickname wasn't something Jisung always called him, but it wasn't like he never said it either. Jisung just wanted to rest, but looking at the older made him smile so he sighed gently and said, "okay, what should we watch then?"
"Anything, I don't mind," the older replied simply, slightly shaking his head.
Jisung closed his eyes and took a deep breath before nodding and climbing into his bed with Minho following suit. The older was quick to capture and hug Jisung close as they watched TV and Jisung cringed at himself when, an hour later, he discovered that Minho had already fallen asleep when the older shifted and put his face in the younger's neck. Sighing, Jisung stared up at his ceiling, noticing how his heart was pounding more than it should've been, fuck, am I really in trouble?
