Repetitive. That's all that it was. Jisung was beginning to feel like maybe he was reliving the same day over and over and over again and it was exhausting. So, when Rock-Star was released, he felt relieved to finally have something else to put his focus on. Figured he could do what he did with their dance practices and just pour every fiber of his being into the promotions as a way to distract himself from whatever it was that was going on with Minho. Distract himself at least during their schedules.
And luckily for him, it seemed to work for a while. He was able to keep his mind away from thinking about Minho and what he was feeling around the older. What Minho had been causing him to feel? Had Jisung come to the conclusion that it was the older's fault? What he was feeling around Minho. And since he'd realized such a thing, that was why he made sure every ounce of his focus was on the damn promotions. Even though he refused to acknowledge it, that didn't mean Jisung didn't still feel everything. The clammy palms, heart palpitations, stomach swirling, head spinning, the need to be close to Minho. Jisung knew deep down that it was still happening, he was just refusing to react. Gaslighting himself to a point that Jisung honestly thought he'd be able to carry on like that. If he just ignored the problem, it'd just disappear, right?
Everything started to go downhill again after their SBLS livestream. Well, it had originally started to go downhill when he watched their SKZ-TALKER and actually realized what his interaction with Minho turned out to be. What it really looked like. What he'd actually said to the older and what the older had said to him. He only realized just how flirty the start of the interaction was while watching the playback after the video had already been released to the public. Only realized that his words were true, because he and Minho did kind of flirt with one another all the time when Jisung wasn't actually in panic mode, while watching the video back. And the worst part was, it didn't even come close to helping him in any way with figuring out what the hell was going on with him. It just made him more fucking confused. But it really plummeted after the SBLS live stream as Jisung watched clips of the way he and Minho interacted even while the camera wasn't even focused on them.
Jisung got up from his bed and headed out into the living room just for some change of space for a moment, meeting Chan there which was odd since Chan was the one that Jisung would've bet would be out of the dorm at the time, "oh, hey, where are the others?"
"Hyunjin is out with Innie again, and Changbin went out for the NCT concert with Felix," the older informed him.
The younger one nodded as he carefully sat down, "what are we watching?"
"The Good Place," Chan replied simply, turning the volume down a little so he could better hear the younger.
"Ugh, but it has such a sad ending," Jisung frowned, but let his eyes train on the TV anyway.
"It's not sad, it's a beautiful ending," Chan chuckled, "plus, it's the only real way it could have ended."
"I suppose that's true," Jisung sighed out before pulling his phone from his pocket once it had gone off, and as he looked at the notification, he swallowed nervously, confused as to why he suddenly even felt nervous. Chan seemed to sense something was wrong as he always did, so he asked, "everything okay?"
"Yeah," Jisung nodded, putting his phone away, "everything's good."
"You looked nervous, Ji, are you sure?" Chan gently pushed, grabbing the remote in case he needed to pause the show.
Jisung smiled and nodded, "yeah."
The leader still didn't really believe him, but he let the topic go anyway, the two of them continuing to watch the show in a comfortable silence for the following ten minutes, a knock being what interrupted it. Jisung offered to answer it since he was planning to grab something to drink anyway, though, when he opened the door, he wished he would have let Chan get it. His heart jumped as his eyes landed on Minho who smiled at him, "hey, did you get my message?"
