Ever since Jisung had failed to ask Minho the burning question Felix had set ablaze in his mind; he'd been beating himself up over it. That was why when the older dancer's text popped up on his screen as he scrolled through TikTok a few days later asking if he was free and wanted to hang out, Jisung immediately sat up and anxiously watched the clock, waiting for three minutes to pass before he replied so he wouldn't look too eager when he agreed to the idea.
Springing out of bed before he'd even properly hit send (he made sure to do so after finding his balance on the floor), the producer immediately changed, trying to calm himself down in the process once he realized he was kind of acting like a maniac. And if Jisung wasn't already aware he was past the point of no return with his feelings, that surely would've been the moment he realized as he, in excitement, nearly face planted on the floor.
He waited outside of Minho's dorm for a few minutes before knocking. Again, not wanting to appear as eager as he really was. Jisung checked his hair through his camera on his phone after knocking as his final check to make sure he looked presentable. Kissable. And when Felix opened the door, Jisung sighed out a small breath of relief, thankful he still had a moment to collect himself.
"Hey, I'm here to hang out with Minho," Jisung informed
Felix nodded in response as he stepped aside to let him in, "he's in his room. Also, just so you know, we're making lunch right now, so you came at a good time."
"Oh, alright," the older nodded slowly, taking small steps at a time.
Felix smiled gently, "are you gonna do the thing today?"
Jisung took another deep breath in attempt to calm down, "I'm gonna try again today, yeah."
"Okay, just remember to breathe, I can see you're nervous," the foreigner said as he placed his hands on the others shoulders, "and let me know how it goes?"
"Yeah, I will," the older smiled softly, chuckling when Felix lightly laughed.
"Rooting for you," the foreigner nodded, patting Jisung's shoulder twice, "now go, he's probably anxiously awaiting your arrival in there."
Jisung hummed with an amused smile as he shook his head and headed towards Minho's room with slow and small steps. He knocked softly on the door after having stood there before it for a few moments, waiting for the said male to invite him in before he actually entered. He spotted Minho at his desk, working away on something as he slowly walked in, "hey."
"Hey, welcome, welcome," Minho looked over at the producer and smiled, "I'm working on something at the moment, but you can pick something to watch if you'd like."
"Oh, okay," Jisung nodded, "what are you working on?"
"It's a Lego set I got from my mom. It's a little Japanese house with a couple cherry blossom trees too," Minho explained gently, "she actually got it for me for Christmas, but I haven't gotten the chance to put it together until now. I started it late last night, so I'm only just now almost done."
"Well, do you want any help?" Jisung asked.
"Sweet," Minho said so gently that Jisung almost missed it, "you don't have to, I'm almost done anyway."
"Okay," the younger replied as he took a seat on the olders bed.
Minho listened as Jisung hummed softly to a random song to fill the silence as he chose something for them to watch, "what are you putting it on?"
"Oh," Jisung shifted and cleared his throat, "Brooklyn Nine Nine."
"Ah," the older nodded, "that's a good show."
