Despite that previous rambling that is indeed not the case, this hidden truth is that every character was isekaied into Oda's fantasy world, and when they die...leaving their love Truck-kun who hugged them a little too tight behind..;-; they join up into the world we follow now THE ONE PIECE IS REALLL.
