The feeling of buzzing in Lia's ear caused her to wince. Her body hurt everywhere, and she could feel the stickiness from the blood on her open wounds. She went to grab her throbbing head but realized she was bounded. Her hands were tied up tightly with rope, and a thick piece of rope was tied around her head to prevent her from screaming for help.

Part of her felt stupid. As if she should've just listened to Ethan. What kind of help was she if she couldn't even get in to safely warn them? Now, who knows what happened to the others and whether Kirby was even alive.

From the looks of it, she'd only been knocked unconscious as Ghostface seemed more interested in Lia herself. She didn't stick around till the other girl woke up, but she didn't get very far either.

All she remembered was being hit over the head with the back end of the knife before passing out. Remembering she'd shoved the kitty claw in her pants, she struggled but eventually managed to fish it out of her jeans.

She began to swipe at the rope, knowing that this was a long shot. The kitty claw wasn't super sharp, it was only meant to do harm if you stabbed something harshly. Not cut through, but she held the trust that the rope was old enough to wear off. It wasn't thick the way the rope around her mouth was, and it was only tied tight, that didn't mean the strength was good overall.

"Of course it's me!" The sound of Detective Bailey's voice filled Lia's ears, and she let out a muffled sob as she just continued to frantically swipe at the rope. "Great job, both of you. But before we start the party, let's bring out the surprise for Mr. Murphy."

The sudden sight of Ghostface coming into view caused Lia to panic, and she started to scream at them despite the rope in her mouth. The Ghostface just tilted their head as if to taunt the girl, before reaching forward and grabbing ahold of her. She struggled against their grip, but the familiar feeling of the knife pressed against her neck caused her to stiffen up.

Tears fell down Lia's cheeks as she came into view, seeing who was standing opposite Detective Bailey. There was another Ghostface, causing Lia to glance back and forth in confusion.

Ethan had said he wasn't part of this, right? Did he lie to her? Is this why he didn't want her to go because he wanted to play it off like he was innocent?

No, Ethan would never. He admitted he was Richie's brother, he told her he was done lying. He wouldn't lie to her again.

"Lia!" Ken and Tara shouted at the same time.

Sam went to reach for the girl, but the other masked killer swiped their knife at her. She just winced as her hand covered the fresh cut, glaring at the costumed assailant.

Lia made eye contact with her dad, who looked extremely wounded. He held a hand to his chest, a fresh puncture wound causing him to bleed out. She began to cry, her sobs muffled as her saliva soaked the dirty rope.
