✨Chapter Twenty Nine✨

I was flustered. I felt my face burning hot. I turned on the air conditioning and blasted the music, trying to cool off and calm down a bit.

I got to the house a couple minutes before Jake did. I stood at the front door waiting for him. He parked his car behind Danny's and hurried out, clicking the key fob to lock it.

He came up to me, scooping me up. I wrapped my legs around him and opened the front door. We spilled inside and he dropped me on the couch, falling over me.

"Can you close the door?" I asked in between unsteady breaths.

"Fuck," he muttered, standing up and locking the front door.

I took the opportunity to situate myself a little better. Jake came back over to me and I held my hands out to him. He cupped my face, giving me a deep kiss. I was aching for him. I let out a little moan and he pulled back.

His expression had changed. He sat up and cleared his throat, chuckling a little.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing. I just thought about something."

"Oh?"

"I've just- I'm really happy with you, Lena. I missed being with you and now we're here and I'm just- I've wanted this for a really long time."

"Thanks, Jake. I- You make me happy too," I whispered as I crawled over his lap.

He put both of his hands on the side of my neck, moving my hair to my back. I put my hands on his chest and he giggled.

"Are you getting shy on me, Jakey?" I teased.

"No, no. I just- "

I cut him off by placing my lips on his. It might have been a little harder than I meant for it to be but I didn't really care. Jake didn't seem to mind either. His hands had traveled down to my hips and he was gently squeezing the muscle there.

I used both of my hands to rake my fingers over his scalp. He moved one hand up to my cheek. I pulled back so I could kiss his neck.

"God, I love you," Jake whispered.

"Come on," I sighed, standing up and taking his hand.

I led him into my bedroom. He stood behind me for a second, placing a kiss to the back of my head.

"You smell nice," he told me.

I spun around to face him. He was grinning at me. I ran my hand over the hem of his tee shirt.

"Are you trying to tickle me again?" Jake asked.

"No. I just want to take your shirt off."

He lifted his arms over his head and I pulled the shirt up. I couldn't reach that high so he took over for me. Then he went to unbutton my top. I helped him and let him guide it down my arms to the floor. He stared at me for a second.

"What?" I mumbled.

"We're not going to get interrupted this time."

"God, I hope not," I moaned as I pulled him onto the bed with me.

We continued to kiss each other. His hands were all over me. Mine were tangled up in his hair.

"I've wanted this for so long," he whispered against my mouth.

"Jake, I-" I said but the thought got lost when Jake slid his lips against my neck.

"I want you. I just want you so badly, Lena," he mumbled into my collarbone.
