Everyone turned towards door and saw Ritik in tears.
Shivi: Ritik suno...
Ritik: Kon Ritik?
Ritik: Itna bada dhoka!
Mahir: Shanti se suno kya
Ritik: Kya sunu? Pata hai itne saalo se main
Shivi: Ritik main na
Ritik: Mar Gaya Ritik.
Bela: Ritik kya hua?
He stormed off outside and Shivi kept sitting in shock. Mahir was also shocked but he recovered soon.
Mahir slowly forwarded his hand to touch Shivi's shoulder but Bela saw his action and understood he want to comfort Shivi and quickly moved forward and shaked her vigorously before Mahir could.
Bela: Shivi....
Shivi turned her head towards Mahir: Ye..ye..kya? Nahi...Ye nahi hona chaiye tha.
She hold Mahir's arm tightly and Bela's eyes snapped at her hand.
Shivi: Uss...uu..usne sab sunn liya. Ab..ab vo phir se mujhse nafrat karega?
Mahir kept a hand at Shivi's cheek and Bela's eyes became wide. She kept moving her eyes from Shivi to Mahir, Mahir to Shivi and their hands. She reminded herself that they consider each other as brother and sister but still her eyes held fire in them, no one noticed her.
Mahir: Aisa nahi hai. Vo tumse nafrat kar hi nahi sakta. Naa pahle karta tha na ab karega.
Shivi: Vo karta tha aur ab phir karega.
Mahir moved his hand from her cheek to her shoulder: Nahi! Aur ab phir se purani yaado mein mat jao. Main janta hu tum bahut mushkil se uss sabke depression se bahr nikli ho. Uss sabse bahr nikalne ke liye hi tum Shivani se Shivi bani thi.
Shivi: Nahi! Main
Mahir: Janta hu tum hamesha kya bolti ho aur main maanta bhi hu uss baat ko par vo sirf 1 reason tha tumhara apni identity badalne ka. Dusra reason yahi tha.
Bela couldn't take it anymore and pulled Shivi away from Mahir, then pushed away from bed: Jao yaha se.
Both looked at her shocked and to not look bad she quickly says: Jao, Ritik ke paas. Jao...
Mahir: Baby?
Baby pointed at door: Jao! Kya hua Mahi? Aise kyu dekh rahe ho? Kuch galat kiya maine? Shivi tum bhi aise dekh rahi ho? Arre! Yaha beth ke rone se toh acha hai na ki usse jaake baat karo. Samjhao usse. Uski baat suno. Ye nahi apne aap assume karlo.
Mahir was shocked but agreed with Bela: Ha Bela sahi kah rahi hai.
Shivi: Par?
Bela: Go...
Shivi didn't said anything and went out.
Now Bela hold his same arm tilted her head at one side while looking directly in his eyes: Kya hua Mahi?
Mahir: Kuch nahi... Tumne Shivi ko dhakka diya. Vo thora shocking tha mere liye.
Bela: Kyu?
Mahir: Tum itni innocent ho. Tum kaise kisi ko dhakka de sakti ho?
Bela: Zaruri tha dena. Chor hi nahi ra...(She didn't complete her sentence.)
Mahir: Kya?
Bela said fastly: Mera matlab aise nahi chor sakte Ritik ko. (She sighed) Hum jaa nahi sakte iss baat ke liye uske paas aur Shivi thi ki jaa hi nahi rahi thi. She needed a push.
Mahir: You are right but vo bhi iss time
Bela didn't let them complete: Choro abhi ye sab. Vo dono aapas mein sort out kar lenge. Tum ye milk peelo(drink) isse pahle mumma wapas aaye aur mujhe phir se daat pare naa peene ke liye.
Mahir: Par baby ye milk tumhare liye hai.
Bela: Milk lelo warna main tumse baat nahi karungi.
Mahir: Okay..okay... Gussa nahi... Baat nahi karogi to main kaise rahunga?
Bela: Good boy!
She kissed his cheek.
Shivi went after Ritik and saw him from back, sitting in park with stiffed shoulders. Her eyes got teary but she didn't let them fall down. She hesitated to approach him.
Ajitab was there too. He saw her: Acha hua tum yahi ho abhi tak. Headquarter se call aaya....
He didn't complete as he saw her scared face and wriggling fingers.
Ajitab: Kya hua? Tum thek ho?
Shivi: Ha..ha.. Tu..Tum ku..kuch bol rahe the?
Ajitab: Kuch to hua hai? Mujhe batao.
She didn't replied. He looked at the direction where she was looking and saw Ritik.
Ajitab: Ritik ne kuch kaha?
She didn't said anything.
Ajitab: Pakka isi ne kuch kiya hai. (He turned) Abhi baat karta hu
Shivi hold his shirt from back: Nahi..nahi..nahi... Vo aur gu..gussa ho jayega.
Ajitab turned towards Shivi with shock: Tum kabse darne lag gayi isse?
Shivi: Nahi please... Mat jao...
At this moment she was old scared, stuttering Shivani and not confident, outspoken, bold Shivanya.
