"holy shit" Isagi panted. Heavy breathing filled the room, slowly fading away as our breathing regulated. I wiped the sweat from my forehead away with the of my hand.

"So, what's that tattoo about?" Isagi asked me. "huh- oh that" I giggled, remembering the tattoo on my back which Isagi must've seen.

"What tattoo?" Bachira chimed in, propping himself up to curiously look at us.

"Val has a tattoo on her lower back" Isagi told him. Bachira cocked his head to the side with a raised brow. "I wanna see" he whined, leaning closer to me. That's when I realized we were all naked, and I instinctively covered my sacred areas, my face heating up instantly.

"There's no point in covering up now, we've both seen you naked" Bachira rolls his eyes. "Yes but it's different now, we aren't having sex so it's weird!" I huffed.

Bachira and Isagi both laughed at my protests, both falling back on the bed in giggles.

"Isagi, give Val her clothes" Bachira told him. Isagi collected my clothes and placed them next to me. I quickly redress, feeling their gazes practically burn into my skin.

In all the mess my hair got roughed up, so I let it out of what used to be a ponytail, and let it fall down. "We gotta hurry up, it's almost time to go see Ego" I reminded them. They both jumped up and quickly got dressed while I brushed my hair, taking care of the mess.

I decided to leave the jacket behind, as my body still felt sort of hot. I tugged my shirt up to cover the marks that Sae had left behind previously, which Bachira noticed.

I could feel his gaze on me, staring me down as I fixed my clothes to cover any visible marks.

I turned around to see them and they were ready to go. I grabbed my badge and we left my room, I tried to see if my badge would lead the way, to which it did.

Ego probably knew I was with these two, which is the only reason my badge would give me directions.

"Okay let's go" I sighed. They probably had no idea about the two week break, which would probably catch them off guard. I don't even know what I can do meanwhile, do I pick up shifts at my old job? Or should I go hang out with friends?

This was too much to think about, i'll probably figure it out once i'm out there, meanwhile I have to focus on these two.

"What do you think Ego has to tell us?" Isagi asked curiously. "I dunno, we'll probably know once we get there" Bachira shrugged. "Well he's gathering everyone here, so I would guess it's important" I chimed in. They both seemed to agree with what I said and left it at that.

My badge lit up again, letting me know we were close to the hall where the control room was. "The doors should be down that hall, come find me afterwards kay?" I told them.

They both hummed in agreement and walked off, leaving me there as I watched them leave. I should probably go find Daphne and ask if she's one of the chosen ones to be asked to come back. I really hope i'd at least have her in second phase if i accepted the contract.

Maybe Daphne would be in the cafeteria, when we parted ways earlier she walked towards that area so that was my first guess.

I let my badge lead the way back, occasionally looking around for any sign of Daphne.

I made it to the cafeteria doors and opened them, scanning around for any sign of her. Luckily, she was just walking in, looking around as well. "Daphne!" I called out. She immediately looked my way and ran to me "Val!" she yelled back.
