Arohi's POV:

" Did you meet her?" I asked her and I looked a sad expression on my son's face.

"I went to meet her before going to Mehta Ji but the volunteers said she is out of the station." He expressed and I know he is dejected.

" Ok, leave about that. How did your meeting with Mehta Ji go?" I asked.

" He likes me to compose the music. He is willing to wait until I complete my current project." Anshu sounded enthusiastic now.

" I'll go and change now. You too freshen up. We'll go and have dinner outside." I said and he nodded. My baby never says no to me. I changed into a decent kurta and leggings while he came back in a simple tee and track pants.

" Shall we go?" Anshu asked and I got into his car. He bought that with his first earning. He loves his car and bike dearly.

I asked him many times to get himself a costlier car but he just dismisses it with a smile. I love how optimistic my baby is, except in that girl's matter.

Anshu wishes to eat seafood today and he got me near the beach.

" Out from that sour mood Anshu. You can contact her again." I tried to cheer him up.

" I'm not sure if she is willing to meet me, Mumma. Which person leaves the city the next day leaving the hospital?" he asked and I feel that he has a point.

" In fact, I say, she doesn't wish to see me." He mumbled and I have to agree. He scared her.

" I remember her eyes, Mumma. She looked straight into my eyes unable to speak. Her eyes held great pain and tears. I was dumb to even understand it then." He said looking at the vanishing point of the sea.

" Don't cry over spilt milk Anshu. Just relax. We'll together find her." I patted my boy's head and got out of the car.

We took a small walk while Anshu just looked relaxed, playing with the water and sand. The little smile on his lips says everything.

" Thank you, Mumma." He said hugging me suddenly.

" What for?" I asked him hugging back.

" For bringing me to this world even after many said you to abort me." My bachcha spoke and I stilled for a moment.

" You are my life, Anshu. How come I won't give birth to you? You are the only reason why I survived." I said soothing his back gently. I pulled myself back and kissed his cheeks gently. My baby has grown so big.

" Hey, mam!" Anshu screamed at a girl but she looked like she is in so much pain to even listen to him. He ran to her while I followed my son.

" Mam, stop what you are doing." Anshu said panting.

" Don't worry. I'm not going to kill myself. Many people will cry if I die. I don't want to disappoint them." She said and she sounded so lonely and depressed despite everyone around.

" Beta, look. Try consulting a psychiatrist. You sound so depressed." I said trying to touch her but she flinched. Her back posture is saying that she is tired of the shit happening around her.

" Whatever you can secure from a burning house is a gain bachcha. My house was burnt and I secured my son and I think you secured a lot of people who love you. Give it a thought beta. Things or the people you secure are always precious." I said patting her shoulder from behind.

My son looked too concerned for her that he pushed his favourite handkerchief into her hand before leaving.

" Take care, mam." He said to her before tailing me.

" You never give your kerchief to someone." I smirked at him and he shrugged.

" She looked too lonely and sad. I can't wipe her tears, so I just handed her my kerchief." He said as we entered the restaurant.

The manager there escorted us while the bearer took our order.

This is the reason why I don't take Anshu out. He is a messy eater. He spills everything around his plate, eats with both his hands and smears everything around his mouth. I put the plates off his vicinity and wiped his mouth with tissues.

" That's why I like ordering food. I embarrass myself eating outside." He said lowly getting up and rushing into the washroom. He is totally the opposite of Arjun when he eats. Arjun is a picky eater and follows the table etiquette while my boy likes to spread things.

This thing has taken me to the memory lanes where Arjun and I used to have dinners. He never showed me that visible love but I always felt it. I'm still unknown why Arjun left me and came to me after all these years.

I can't just let him go. Why did he do all this and stood in front of me after 26 freaking years?

" Mumma, let's go somewhere after your concert. I need a change before starting another project." Anshu said bringing me out of my trance.

" Sure beta. Where do you want to go?" I asked signalling the bearer to get the bill.

" East of India. Anywhere." He said. I thought he want to go to Paris or Amsterdam but her chose India and that too the seven sisters. I always wished to go there and it's happening now, with my son.

We got into the car and Anshu stopped at a secluded place where there are no people.

" How did you feel Mumma?" Anshu asked.

" About what?" I smiled but he held my hand and squeezed it gently.

" How did you feel when you saw that man?" He asked and I stayed mum. What should I answer? I was shocked, overwhelmed, angry, and happy. I don't know what I felt at that moment.

" I don't actually know Anshu. But if I see him again, I want to know why he left me?" I whispered and I felt a gentle squeeze.

" I'll make sure he answers you, Mumma, whether you meet him or not. " Anshu said and I can feel the fit of anger. I see a thin layer of tears and I felt my baby. He went through so much insult, so much humiliation, bully in his life. Arjun has to answer every question of our baby too.
