Kia's POV:

I was alone in our room and I felt the ache in my feet. I feel like crying now. I was not even able to see my feet. Siddhansh was always roaming from city to city for recordings and Arohi Aunty is no less. It was just because Arjun chose to retire long back, he was with me.

We were often on the grounds, going for walks, he took me to our NGO, he made me paint his silly faces and sometimes I even went to Mumma's office.

I turned to my side and it was very difficult to even shuffle. I sighed and lay in the same position in which I was in. I wiped my tears and looked at the other side of the empty bed. He is in Kerala now and he will be back by morning. It's not that he neglects me, but I often miss him.

I opened my eyes finally and looked at my mobile gritting. It's freaking 1:334 A.M.

Will he be sleeping now? Probably not! The devil side of my mind said and I dialed Siddhansh. He picked up my call at the second time and I heard his raspy voice which immediately made me wet.

" You sleeping, baby?" I asked trying to keep my voice as innocent as possible.

" Which ass would be up at this night Kia?" He asked me softly in his sleepy tone that had me laugh.

" You have some time?" I asked and there was the silence on the other side.

" What's it Dewdrop?" He asked grunting. He might have sat up on the bed.

" The baby is not letting me sleep Anshu, it's suffocating me," I complained and I heard him sigh. He might probably be smiling behind that mobile.

" I'll be back by tomorrow morning." He whispered and I have this warm feeling in me. We spoke for what was like an hour and a half. We spoke about the random shit that doesn't even exist on the earth. We gossiped about other singers' personal lives, their exes, their affairs and whatnot. As if those were not enough, we spoke about the solar system.

I didn't even realise when I slept until Arjun woke me up from sleep. I groaned and opened my eyes to see Arohi Aunty standing in front of me with her hands on her waist.

" Thank God, you are up Kia. I thought you passed out." Arjun sighed in relief and then I looked at Arohi Aunty who looked at me angrily. This lady scares me.

" Go and freshen up Kia. we'll have the breakfast once you are down." Arohi Aunty ordered and I pouted. I carefully got down holding my 9 months old pregnant belly. If you want to know how my parents and my friends felt, trust me, they didn't believe me. Akanksha almost fainted hearing the news. If not for Benny, she would hurt her back.

I took a sip of my coffee and began enjoying my breakfast. Arjun and Arohi Aunty were engrossed in a conversation about their plans for the day when my hand suddenly clutched her belly. It's hurting and I feel impeccable pain down there.

Arjun noticed immediately, concern etching across his face. "Kia, are you okay?" he asked, his voice laced with worry.

I tried to smile through the discomfort. "I... I think I'm having contractions," I admitted finally, trying to catch my breath.

Arohi Aunty's eyes widened, and she shot up from her chair. "Contractions? But it's not time yet! We need to get you to the hospital."

Panicking, Arjun fumbled with his phone, dialling the Tiwaris, their next-door neighbours, who had become like family ever since Siddhansh was born.

As soon as Mr. Tiwari picked up the call, Arjun rushed to explain the situation, "Kia's having contractions, and we need to get her to the hospital. Can you and Mrs. Tiwari come over? We could use some help."
