Anshu's POV:

I was at the studio trying to perfect the music. The music was for an ad commercial and I never understood why people went crazy after the event with my parents at the stadium. I'm not complaining though. There were 8 ads lined up and I'm currently advising the music groups to adjust their schedule.

To be honest, I have a team and I'm a bit biased towards them. They always strive to give their best. They hadn't had any rest for the past 4 days and I sighed seeing the 2 of the guys sleeping holding the flute to their chest.

" Sir," Asha, one of the members rose and looked at the boys but I asked her to let them sleep.

" The next schedule is on the Wednesday. And you can take a 2-day rest for Christmas. We have to perform a live band in the fashion week. So, guys, we need to wrap this commercial up by tonight. Let's go for another take." I said to the choir and they nodded showing their thumbs up. See, this is what I love about them. They never disappoint me.

A guy named Raj was singing the main part and the remaining chorused. The whole time, my heart was in my mouth waiting for it to end perfectly.

" Well done guys. This is a wrap." I said and they took a breath of relief. I called the ad director and said that the music was ready. I sent him the music and he finally appreciated me. If not for this time, I thought of quitting or running a truck over him. This has been going on for the past month.

It was past the lunch time and I called Kia. She picked up the fourth ring and a small smile graced my lips.

" Hey, what are you doing?" I asked turning off all the switches in the recording room.

" Celebrating Diwali." She sassed and I chuckled.

" Come on, tell me!" I asked again.

" Burning the crackers that I found in the store room while moving the boxes." She said and I couldn't help but laugh.

" You should have let the kids share those among themselves. You are being a kid now." I complained.

" Come on, Siddhansh, I already gave them everything, I just took 3." She said and I can imagine her irritation.

" Getting angry with your husband? Come on, send me all the smiles." I asked and I heard a sigh. I don't know how many believe in love after 25. But I do. Sex isn't just the criteria, we need to take time for our loved ones instead of pleasing society. Who knows? I wouldn't have been here if my Mumma believed in pleasing society.

" Now you are being cheesy." She laughed and I saw my mobile. There was a message from my wife. I opened it and it was her photo with the cracker.

" Looking beautiful like always

" Looking beautiful like always." I said and she puffed.

" Siddhansh, can we go to the Marine Drive tonight? After we drop Aunty and Arjun?" She asked I couldn't say no to her.
