Siddhansh's POV:

I saw fear in her eyes. I just hurt an innocent girl because of him. I can't believe I choked her with my very hands. What if she dies? Will the police arrest me or defame Mumma perhaps?

I sat in the music studio and looked at my surroundings. It's so quiet which I would have enjoyed if it was some other day but today? I feel suffocated. The guilt is consuming me. But how can he marry someone else and have a child with them? Are we nothing to him?

I hold no grudge against her, but he declared her his baby. What am I then? Who is Mumma to him? I heard the creaking sound of the door and immediately faced it. It's Mumma. She looks beautiful in the saree but I always wish to see the nuptials, sindhur and toe rings on her. People lash her as a characterless woman for sleeping with my so-called Papa.

" Done feeling guilty of your actions beta?" Mumma asked in a mocking tone while I put my head down.

" I'm sorry Mumma. I didn't mean to hurt her." I apologised.

" It's ok my bachcha. And why are you apologising to me? Find her and apologise to her." Mumma gently caressed my hair kissing my head and I nodded.

" Won't you come home?" Mumma asked and nodded no.

" Where do you want to go? Because I'm sure she will not be available for you now." Mumma asked raising her eyebrow.

" I... I want to go to the pub." I said hesitantly and she looked at me in astonishment. I looked at her from my lashes and wetted my lips in anticipation.

" Go then." She said giving me a skeptical look.

I escorted her to the car and asked the driver uncle to leave her at home. I took my bike and went to a pub. God knows how I managed to enter it. It's my first time being in such a place.

I walked in and people are smoking, doing drugs and drenched in alcohol. The booming music urged me to close my ears and run from there. I am looking around and bumped into someone. I immediately apologised and inched a bit back.

" Order please?" The bartender asked and I jerked at my place. My outfit looked casual for this place.

" Voo..oodd..ka?" I stuttered and my heart started rising. He put a shot in front of me and I looked at him. I took that with my shivering hands and immediately threw it. It's not how my Mumma raised me. She would be disappointed knowing me doing such things.

I ran out of the pub and sat on the footpath. I looked at my trembling hands and tears pooled in my eyes. Mumma would be disappointed in me. She trusts me so much. I heard the whistle and saw a person running towards me.

" Hey you, pay the bill." He screamed and I stood up immediately.

" I searched my pockets only to know that I didn't fetch my purse today.

" I'm sorry sir, I didn't get my purse today. I'll pay it tomorrow." I said and he looked agitated.

" I don't know sir, either you pay or we'll call the police." He said and it is adding up to my building frustration.

" Wait.... Wait." I said and took a deep breath. I wiped my eyes and fished my phone out. I called Mumma and waited for her to pick up the call.

" Anshu...." She cooed and I took a deep breath.

" Mumma." I said and understood that something is wrong.

" What happened bachcha?" She asked and I said her everything. She immediately did the online transaction and I hurriedly went back home.

I lay in her lap while she kept caressing my hair.

" Why did you look so scared Anshu beta?" Mumma asked softly.

" Why did that man leave us Mumma? And he called her his baby? Ain't I his baby? I just lost it, Mumma."  I vented out my anger.

" I have no answer to your question Anshu. But you are his baby. I was broken when she called him Papa in the hospital." Mumma said and I am sad. She was never this low.

" I was about to consume alcohol today in guilt Mumma. I'm so sorry. That's how you brought me up." I apologised hugging her waist.

" You realised and that's enough Anshu. And please don't tell me that you haven't tasted it and wasted my money." She teased and I chuckled. She just shook my head and kissed my forehead.

" Chalo, get up! Let's have dinner and sleep. Mishra Ji wants to discuss something with you tomorrow regarding the music direction. He wants to schedule an appointment. " Mumma said and I nodded.

" He could have reached me through my manager and not you." I said picking the plate up.

" I just happened to meet him in the studio yesterday and he asked me to say a word to you." Mumma said and I nodded pouring the water in our glasses.

Mumma made us some rice along with Murg Makhni and Tambda Rassa.

" Itna pyar kyu aaya aaj Mumma? Dho dho chicken curriyan? " I asked and she just chuckled motioning me to eat. We had our dinner with a little chit chat and I got to know that she must go to 3 studios tomorrow.

" I will accompany you tomorrow. I'll schedule my meeting with Mishra Ji another day." I said and Mumma glared at me.

" Not now Anshu. Just listen to me and meet him. You are an upcoming musician and you must not leave any chance. Movies may or may not leave a good imprint Anshu, but good music stays with people forever. So my bachcha, listen to me and meet him." Mumma suggested and I nodded.

I finished the food and washed my plate while Mumma followed the same.

" Apologise to her tomorrow." Mumma said and I contemplated.

" But I don't know where she lives. How will I apologise to her?" I asked and Mumma sat on the bed thinking.

" Find it then." She said simply retiring to her room.

That's next to impossible to find someone whom I don't even know.
