Kia's POV:

" Kia, go home beta." Arohi Aunty said softly applying some ointment over my cheek. I think she doesn't want me here. Maybe because Papa always creates one or the other thing over here because of me. I understand her though. Now she is a married woman who has a house to look after and who entertains a stranger in their home who makes mayhem?

I looked at her and smiled. I mumbled a yes and got up to leave.

" Kia." I heard Arjun from the first floor. His son stood behind him with the glasses on speaking to someone on the mobile.

" Go safe. I'll look into this matter." He said and kissed my forehead. I nodded and walked out.

Where shall I go now? I don't want to go to that place now. I sat on the footpath that is connected to our compound wall. My mobile pinged and I unlocked it to see a message from MONSTER.

I opened the chat and it read Go home. Don't sit outside. It's colder today.

I looked around and I found none. I looked up and he waved his hand at me from the balcony. Is his room opposite mine?

There was another ping and I looked at the phone. Stop staring. I know I look handsome.

That irritated me. What does he think of himself? They politely kick me out and I'll go to my house? But, I have no other option. I sighed and got up. You have to face them one day if not today Kia. Let that one day be today. I motivated myself and entered the gate of my house.

There you see both my parents parading in the hall as if they are given a very tough task and they don't know how to crack it.

" Where the heck are you till now?" My Mata Shree screamed and I'm totally done with screams today.

I looked at the clock on the wall and it showed 7:50 PM.

I was walking towards the stairs and my mother held my elbow. I hissed as soon as she gripped my bruised skin. She noticed it and slowly left me looking at her husband.

" I'm thinking of getting you engaged with the MLA of Raigad. Meet him this coming Sunday at the Salt Water café. Just meet him and I'll take care of the remaining." My father spat and it's riling up my blood.

" I don't like that psycho." I screamed and he looked at me with his big eyes that I immediately have to back off.

" No issues, I have 2 more options but you will get married by the next month. And for now, bathe and get ready neatly. Dalvi Sahab, Arohi ji and Anshu are coming for dinner." I have tried to concentrate on what he said but I only understood half. I need to get out of here. He wants to marry me off. If not him, then it's someone else.

" Don't even dare to think of escaping this. I asked the security guards to open the gates only for the Dalvis' and I sent your favourite Jeetu Bhaiyya home. You will see him tomorrow again." Papa smirked and a tear rolled down my cheek.

" Why do you both hate me so much?" I whispered as the tears blurred my eyes. I see that he sent all his minions home and only the maids and guards are left.

" Shut up and get ready for the dinner." He screamed and I flinched at my place. He will hit me again if I say no. Plan something tomorrow, Kia. Let it be for today. I looked up and saw all the workers stopped working and are staring at me. It's so embarrassing.

I bathed and wore simple nightwear. I know that they will be pissed but I care the least about them.

I walked down and I saw Arjun, Arohi Aunty and Anshu sitting on the sofa. They look good in simple clothes and Arohi Aunty wore a baggy kurta and jeans, Arjun in a t-shirt and a pant and Sid in a light pink shirt and beige pants.
