CHAPTER 23: A love that never last

NAOMI's POV

I am now fixing myself because I agreed that we will talk of Christoph. I wish this day would be great. A few minutes ago, I received one message from Christoph. He said that he's now at the park and waiting for me, after I got the message, I hurriedly run away to my room and gets outside in our house. I rode a jeepney and I almost rode it for 5 minutes. When I am here at the park, I saw a man standing behind the tree. For a long time, my heart start again to beat faster. I think that is Christoph.

"You can do it Naomi" The word I left to myself. Before I call his name, I get a deep breath.

"Chri...Christoph?" I softly said. The man that was standing behind the tree turn around.

"Naomi." He said. Then he walk faster going to my directions and unexpectedly, he hug me like he never saw me for a year.

I give back the hug he gave. After that, we walk for a minute and we sit at the park.

We are between of the silence and don't know who will be the first to talk. But...

"Do you still like me?" We both asked each other. We looked to each other. I'm waiting for his answer but I guess, he also waiting for my answer.

"Naomi, I don't know how will I start this..." - Christoph

"No, just answer my question." I said and still not looking in him.

He didn't answer immediately. That's why my heart is beating so fast because of the nervous.

What if he say "no"? What if he say "I don't love you anymore"???  How about me?! How about my feelings for him? :(

A few minutes have passed, when he answers my question... I was so shocked to what he said...

CHRISTOPH's POV

I'm so happy when Naomi allowed me to talk to her. I miss her very much, I miss her smile and the way she is.

We both ask each other and she's waiting for my answer.

"But before that, how are you with Aica?" She asked with sarcastic voice.

"Look, I don't like her, ok?" I answered.

"Really? But what are those you are doing?" She asked again.

"But she's the one who like me. I already said to her that I don't like her, I will not like her and I will never like her. Remember when we have an outing? Do you remember when you thought and when you heard that I said to Aica that I like her? Well, you're wrong. I was about to run going to your directions but Aica stopped me." I stopped for a while and Naomi talk again in a sarcastic way.

"Then, when she stopped you, that was the time that you told her you like her, right?" She said.

I shook my head.

"No." I simply answered.

She look straight to my eyes.

"No because I shouted to her. I said that "if I want to tell her that I like her too." And when you came, you heard and you thought that I really like her too. You always in a wrong timing Naomi." I said.

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't know. I'm really sorry!" Naomi apologized to me.

"It's ok. It's all an accident." I said.

"Now, can I ask?" She said.

I only nodded.

"D-do you still like me?" She asked me. I didn't answer immediately.

I am thinking.. what if she answer me "no"? What if Naomi answer me "I'm sorry I don't like you anymore"?

Urgh!!! I will just tell what I feel!

After a few minutes...

This is the time to tell the truth...

"No. I don't like you anymore"

I saw her reaction and her teary eyes...

NAOMI's POV

"No. I don't like you anymore"

⊙_⊙ Wh-what did he just said???

He look to me straightly.

I don't know what should I say... I-I don't know what will be my true reactions. :'( 

"W-why?" I asked him with a soft voice. I now feel my tears that can fall anytime.

A while ago...

"You asked me why." Christoph said. And my tears just fell down and I can't say anything to him.

He look to my eyes straight and I was shocked because...

Christoph hold my hand and...

"Because I already love you now. I can't tell that I like you because I love you Naomi." Christoph said.

What?!!! Did I heard that he love me?!

"R-really?!" I asked him.

"Yes Naomi. I love you! I can't be with someone else just you Naomi! I love you ! I love you!" He said.

Then he hug me so I hug him back and he kissed me in my forehead. I hug him tightly. I miss him, I really miss Christoph. And now, I prove to myself, that I now love him.

This is the day that I become happy again.. WITH CHRISTOPH.
