"You are a manipulator.

I like to think of myself more as an outcome engineer."

- J.R Ward (Lover Eternal (Black Dagger Brotherhood, 2))

When I say that everything is going according to plan, that's what I mean. Indigo, should listen to my words better if she doesn't want to fall into the trap of a predator, since she got caught when she agreed to a date with me, really expecting me to answer all her questions truthfully. Actually, she shouldn't know about all the horrors that our fathers did. Moreover, she may think that I don't notice how much she is falling in space or the way she nervously digs her nails into her palms to stop shaking. I can see everything, her every move and even her little panic attack in the car. What made her panic, I don't know yet. But I will definitely find out. Maybe it's a small space or there really is nowhere to hide from me. Which of course scares me. But I planned it all out. Initially, the idea was just to come to the forest and have a picnic away from people, but when I found out that it was going to rain, I was glad to be stuck somewhere with her. I filled up a full tank and prepared a team of people so that they would "save" us if the rain did not stop, or we could not get out. People will say I'm a sick bastard. I won't even deny it, I'll laugh in your face and tell you that I'm even worse. I'm just holding back.

Even take as an example the way I watch Indigo when she eats. She makes the simple process of eating fruit and sandwiches magical and fascinating. The way her soft, plump lips wrap around the food and the way she chews slowly and carefully does not allow me to take my eyes off her. In fact, from the very first day we met, I couldn't take my eyes off her. I want to capture every moment of her life, every reaction. Laughter, sadness, illness, anger. I want to watch all this and be there. But I also do not forget about my plan, which is above all physical needs. Indigo is my revenge tool for her brother. So no matter how sweet the forbidden fruit is, I will have to give it up. In the meantime, I'm just going to enjoy time with my muse.

"How do you like my food?"

"Did you cook this?"

"Of course not, I would burn down my kitchen."

"To make sandwiches, you don't need to fry anything or cook something unusual"

"So I would have broken something, or it would have been inedible. I don't have the patience to cook something" I'm really not a very patient person, I want everything at once, even though I suppress these feelings when I'm working on something important. But when I do what I enjoy, I just destroy it in a fit of aggression.

"Don't you have a hobby?" It was still raining, but the tank would have been half full, so I was happy to talk to Indigo, slowly bringing her to the cliff so that she would surrender to me in this fight.

"I have a job. That's all I need. What are your hobbies?" Indigo frowned and thought.

"I like to read books. And I also like to learn new languages." Indigo was from a rich family. She and her brother had a huge amount of money, but at the same time, she led a very ordinary lifestyle. A small, but cozy apartment, and a car that does not stand out. No traveling to different islands or constant trips to charity parties. Indigo lived the ordinary life of a middle-class person. Which surprised me and again attracted me to her.

" I speak Russian. I can teach you."

"I know. Were you born in Russia?."

"No, but my nanny spoke Russian, she was an immigrant in Seattle." Miss Lisa was a strict but fair woman. She was always kind to me and tried to raise me properly, knowing that neither my mother nor father would take care of me. She was my nanny until I was ten, then she returned to Russia, leaving her daughter here in Seattle. What happened in her life is still a mystery to me. I tried to track down years later I was curious what happened to her, but the only thing I could find out was that she died in Russia, about when I was eighteen years old. I also was wondering where her daughter was, but I never found her.
