Hey, still a dick?

@ North to Nyx

I try to be polite, let's be friends. What do you think?

@ Nyx to @ North

Why would I want to be friends with you?

@ North to @ Nyx

Well, there are a lot of benefits. But at least to have a chance to beat my ass?

@ Nyx, to @ North,

I may consider it.

Don't think too much, I am not the patient type, bug.

Since childhood, or rather since the age of thirteen, the touch of a man has become unbearable for me. The touch of all men except my brother. For almost twenty-one years, I have not dated anyone, because I understood that this would lead to touching or even intimacy with a man, which disgusted me. Somehow, Daniel's presence gave me comfort and even a desire to touch him. Feel the warmth of his skin. All this is inexplicably strange, but I attribute these feelings to the fact that he saved me. Literally took me away from death. When my mother was still alive, she often told me, "Darling, one day you will meet a complete stranger who will become closer to you than people who carry the same blood as you."

My mother was a very wise woman, but I could not imagine her relationship with our father on such a close level. Speaking of close relationships, I can't imagine myself in a close relationship even with my brother. Alistair changed a lot after my unsuccessful birthday, although I must admit he tried to make me celebrate the rest of my birthdays, but after a couple of years of unsuccessful attempts, he stopped trying.

I heard my phone vibrate, I put a cup of coffee on the counter when I noticed that the incoming call was from Zella. It's strange that she calls on my day off. I hope nothing urgent.

"Hey," I greeted her listlessly, sitting down on the sofa in front of my work laptop.

"Indigo? Sorry to bother you." I heard her voice tremble, and she was breathing heavily. "But I have no one to call, can you please come?" She was obviously sobbing. I frowned, something definitely happened, something that made me worry about her safety.

"What happened? Are you okay? Why are you crying?"

"Just come, please, I do not know what to do." She started crying harder.

"I'll be there in twenty minutes."

"OK, thanks Indi" I quickly dressed in the first thing I found in the closet and went to Zella. She lived fifteen minutes away by car. But during this time I didn't know what to think, I had never seen her so worried. As soon as I got to the high-rise building, I headed straight to the entrance If I got her entrance code right, I wouldn't have to call her, which would save any minute.

When the elevator stopped on her floor, I knocked on her door

"Zella? This is Indigo, please open the door." Outside the door, I heard rustling and quiet sobs.
