“Habitat structure detected, 200m below sea level in a cave-like ecosystem, 500 km south-east. Coordinates attached.”

“....what?”

Another Degasi base. Maybe we'll be able to find further information about this planet. A groan soon interrupted my thoughts as I remembered the sick man in my room. 'Shit. I'll tell the others about the message later.' I quickly placed my PDA back in my inventory before climbing up the ladder to see the ravenette captain still wrapped in a blanket.

I quietly placed my helmet on the desk before carefully removing my O2 tank, setting it on the ground. I removed my gloves and set them next to my helmet before I walked over and slowly sat beside the sleeping male.

With a worried sigh, I gently placed the back of my hand to his forehead to check his temperature. ‘He’s not as hot as before so at least he's making slight progress.’ I glanced down to the floor and saw a napkin with half-eaten food and a water bottle that was almost empty.

'Not surprising.' I thought, knowing he doesn't really care for the fish in the first place, yet probably still struggles with trying to eat while sick. I bent down to grab the napkin of food and walked towards the trashcan in my room.

After disposing of the items, I made my way back down the ladder to grab him some fruit and another bottle of water. I walked into the dining room and over to the water filtration system, grabbing the freshly made bottle from the machine before walking over to the Lantern Fruit hanging from the tree and grabbing a couple pieces and a slice of a Marble Melon before walking back towards the ladder.

As I walked out of the room and rounded the corner, I nearly bumped into Erwin and almost dropped the fruit. “Oh! My bad, sorry, Erwin. Ah, before I forget, we need to talk later. About a message I received of a nearby habitat." I stated, watching as the gears in Erwin’s head turned.

"I see. How will we go about this?" He questioned, most likely putting into consideration the cadets that might protest going outside the base again after what happened today.

“Well, I think we should call a meeting for everyone and ask for volunteers." I suggested.

"What will you do if no one volunteers? I'm afraid not many will want to adventure out voluntarily unless told to do so." Erwin is right. With Levi being sick, Eren being heated about what happened, and my recent near death experience, not many people will want to volunteer for another adventure so soon.

“You have a point. So, if no one volunteers, then I’ll just go by myself. I’ve put everyone through enough, so the choice is up to them. I’m not forcing them anymore.” These past few months have been difficult for everyone involved, even if back in their world was just as difficult, if not worse.

"Well, I'm going to go give Levi his fruit and water and then I’ll send everyone a message to gather in the Dining room. Until then, I’ll be upstairs." With a small farewell exchanged, Erwin nodded in affirmation before walking off.

I went ahead and continued towards my room and climbed up the ladder. I soon made my way over to a wide awake Levi. He hadn't said anything while I made my way to his side of the bed and placed the fruit and water down.

"Make sure to eat as much as you can. I know you don't like the weird looking fish here, but you do need protein to get better, so for now just eat this and we can try again later.”

“Are you just getting back?” He asked, sounding very groggy.

“About 10 minutes ago, but yeah.” I replied as I sat down beside him. “How are you feeling?”
