Megumi was up and ready before Brina, as he was walking down the hallway, he noticed the door to the room Mizu was sleeping in was cracked open. He peeked inside and saw that she was still sleeping soundly.
He smiled at the sight and quietly closed the door, not wanting to wake her up. As he made his way to the kitchen, he saw Toji sitting at the dining table, sipping his coffee. "Good morning," Toji said, looking up as Megumi entered the room.
"Morning, Dad" Megumi replied, taking a seat across from him. "Sleep well?" Toji asked, taking another sip of his coffee. "
"Yes, I did. Thanks," Megumi replied, stretching his arms. As he stretched the sleeve of his shirt rolled down revealing his tattoo. "When the hell did you get a tattoo?" Toji asked, noticing the ink on Megumi's arm.
Megumi froze for a moment before pulling his sleeve back down. "Uh, I got it a while ago," he mumbled. "Let me see," Toji said, leaning forward to get a better look.
Megumi hesitated for a moment before reluctantly pulling his sleeve back up to reveal the tattoo.
"Your mother is going to flip when she sees that," Toji commented, looking at the tattoo. "See what?" Mrs. Fushiguro asked as she entered the kitchen, rubbing her eyes sleepily.
Toji and Megumi both turned to look at her, and Toji spoke up first. "Megumi got a tattoo," he said, gesturing to Megumi's arm. "Dad!" Megumi exclaimed, feeling embarrassed.
His mother rush over to them and took a closer look at Megumi's tattoo. "Why would you do this to yourself, Megumi? What were you thinking?" she said with a hint of disappointment in her voice.
