When Brina got to Megumi's house he was in his bed playing Detroit: Become Human. She sat down behind him and watched him for a moment, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
"Hey, Handsome," she called softly, catching his attention. He paused the game and turned to look at her. "Hey, my Pretty girl," Megumi said kissing her cheek before resuming the game.
He laid in between her thighs while Brina watched him play, absentmindedly running her fingers through his hair. "Guess what?" "What?" Megumi asked, his eyes fixed on the game screen but his attention clearly on Brina.
"Mizu is coming back sooner than expected," Brina replied, "That's good, I've missed hearing her run around," Megumi said, a hint of longing in his voice.
"Also, there's a little gathering that artists from the museum are going to, and I wanted to bring you with me." Brina smiled, a warm feeling spreading in her chest. "Sure, Sure. When is it?" Megumi asked, his fingers still fiddling with the controller.
"I think tomorrow" Brina picked up her phone to confirm the date. "Yep, tomorrow it is." Megumi went back to play his game, but with a contented look that told Brina he was looking forward to it.
