"Are you sure you want to meet my dad's side of the family?" Megumi asked Brina, a hint of concern in his voice. Brina rolled over to face him. "Megumi, how bad could it be?"
Megumi let out a sigh, his brows furrowing slightly. "Fucking terrible, they'll already hate the fact you have a child from a previous relationship," he replied, his voice tinged with worry.
"I mean, you've already met my cousin Naoya, you saw how judgmental he was. I'm just worried about how they might treat you," Megumi explained, his eyes filled with genuine concern.
Brina reached out and gently placed her hand on Megumi's cheek, "Like I said before I don't care, I can handle it" Megumi's expression softened as he looked into Brina's eyes, his worries temporarily eased by her reassuring touch.
"Just remember, if anything becomes too uncomfortable or overwhelming, please let me know." Brina smiled, appreciating his concern and support.
"I promise I'll let you know if anything feels off" she replied, playing with his hair. Brian's hands ran through his hair, massaging his scalp and pulling some of it play. "I'm thinking about cutting it off and going with a buzz cut" Megumi joked.
