Brina woke up with a mix of emotions swirling within her. The conversation with her father still weighed heavily on her heart, but the support and love she received from Megumi gave her some comfort and strength.
As she went about her morning routine, getting Mizu ready for the day and preparing breakfast, she couldn't help but replay the events from the previous day in her mind.
"Are you ready to head back home?" Brina asked, adjusting Mizu's dress. Mizu looked up at her with a beaming smile and nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, Mama! I miss my stuffed animals," she chirped.
