Twilight: Red Rain

The Beginning

I was sitting in class, and as I was, I looked up at the clock on the wall, waiting impatiently for it to turn, school was getting out for the summer soon, but more importantly, senior year was getting out, so I was eager to leave, but time didn't seem to be speeding up at all, but eventually, the bell rang, and I ran out the door as fast as I could, which is very fast seeing as how I'm a vampire, but I was so caught up in the school year ending, that I didn't notice Bella being right in front of me, and then bumped into her, and she said (once she recovered) "oh, hi Edward, I didn't expect you so soon" I said "oh, it's nothing, time is nauseatingly slow, but you know what they say, time bends for no man" "well" said Bella "that's just the way things are. Speaking of which, where's Jacob?" we soon got our answer when he came out of the school arm-in-arm with a Latina-looking girl, and Bella said "oh, hi Jacob, who's your friend?" "Me llama Loba," she said "y yo tambien soy un hombre lobo" Jacob then said, "She just said that she's a werewolf too, and since I recently fell in love with her, then by creed, she is now the future Alpha Female of my pack" "well, congratulations Jake" I said, and we went our separate ways for the day

Bella's POV: The next night, I was sitting on my front porch swing, watching the world go by, when suddenly a black car pulled up in front of the house, I recognized it as one of those new all-electric Volvo's advertised on TV a lot, so I went down to it and asked who was there, but then, the driver rolled down the window, to reveal..."EDWARD!" I said, recognizing him the instant I saw him, before saying "What are you doing here? My dad's gonna nuke both of us if he sees you here!" Edward said "I just wanted to say that my dad wanted you to bunk with us for now" "Oh, cool," I said, and ran back inside to get my stuff, and then told my dad "I'm spending some time at a friend's house and everything's okay!" before me and Edward left

When we got to the woods, we saw what would, to the uneducated sheeple of the rest of the world seem like a random pack of wolves gathered outside Edward's house, but it was Jacob's pack in their wolf forms, who were assembled for a pack meeting to discuss something that we could only assume was very important, and so, we decided to mingle with the crowd, and when we did, Sam, the current Alpha male of the pack, went up onto a large rock and said "Children of the Moon, this is Sam, and today we are gathered here to discuss my heir, Jacob Black" at that moment, everyone began to talk about what they thought was up with Jacob, Seth asked, "has he been excommunicated from the pack?" Quil asked "Does he have terminal cancer?" and Leah asked, "Is he gay?" Sam then stamped his paw on the rock and said "Calm down, it's none of those things! He's fallen in love with another wolf" Everyone was immediately abuzz about this development, but then, Loba came forward and said "I am Loba, and I am the one he has fallen in love with" Everyone immediately began to swarm her, asking her all manner of questions, Embry also interjected "Jacob and Loba, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" before Sam restored order stating that things would be allowed to develop so they could see if it was a good thing or not, before the meeting was adjourned, and Jacob and Loba rejoined us

Back to Edward: When we went inside, we found a whole bunch of pizza boxes stacked on the living room coffee table, and a note attached that read: Hey Edward, I thought I'd order these for you, since you have friends over, consider this me cashing in on the favor I owe you-Alice. "Well, that's nice," said Bella, complimenting my little sister's generosity, and so, we sat down to watch my favorite movie, and what is debatably the best movie ever made (although Small Soldiers might also be up there): The Sandlot, trust me, it's an all-time classic, so watch it if you haven't already

The next day, we were just relaxing in the living room, when my dad, Carlisle came in and said "EUREKA! I'VE FOUND IT!" "YOU DID!?" I asked excitedly "Indeed," said Carlisle "this could be the vampire scientific discovery of the Millennia" "Well," asked Bella "What did you find?" Carlisle said "A formula for fake blood, I've been trying to perfect it for centuries" Bella then asked "Why do you want to invent a formula for fake blood?" "Well," said Carlisle "I have designed this as artificial plasma to be used by us vampires as a substitute for the real thing" "Cool!" said Jacob, and so, Carlisle went off to tell my mom, Esme, to call vampire retailers and tell them the news, but this would set off a chain reaction unlike any we had ever set off before
