An anonymous tip had flagged me to a disturbance at a local insane asylum. It was a dark and stormy night (cliche, I know) so my partner, the senior Officer Bates went there with me, accompanied by Mina and Annalise. On the drive, Bates said, "Sir, I don't mean to defy you, but why are we bringing non-officers on police business?" I said, "Well, they're gonna be real helpful, for reasons you'll see later"
When we went inside, the inmates were running wild, and the power was out completely, giving the whole place a generally spookier atmosphere, then, Bates said "so, from what the tipper told us, the disturbance was caused by an inmate in cell 1931, so we should probably head there" so, we did
When we entered the cell, we found a man slouching in the corner, and eating rats, which already told us that he was bad news, then, he creepily said "I knew you would be coming, Charles, Mina, Annnalise. The master requested that I stop you from meddling with his plans further" then, he turned to us, and got to his feet, pulling out a butcher knife, and then he charged for us, leading to a game of cat-and-mouse around the asylum, separating us into two groups, leaving me with Mina, and Bates with Annalise
Annalise's POV: me and Bates were running through the corridors of the asylum, and while we were fleeing the ravenous inmates, Bates asked me "So, before we start fighting, you mind telling me WHAT'S GOING ON!" and I said "to put it in modern terms, this patient is a servant of Count Dracula, and wanted to kill us on his master's behalf" "okay" said Bates "I'm gonna suspend my disbelief and say that Renfield wants to kill us because Dracula, who is his boss, told him to because Charlie is meddling in his plans" "that's about it" I said, and we resumed the chase
Back to Charlie: although I had started running a lot more and lost my dad bod, it wouldn't do much good with an insane man wielding a butcher knife chasing me and Mina, and when we were cornered in the operating theater, Bates came running saying "DON'T WORRY SIR, I'LL SAVE YOU!!!!!" but then, Renfield appeared behind him, and stabbed him multiple times in the gut, before stabbing him one final time in the back. Bates said "is that the best you can-" before falling to the ground dead. Renfield then retrieved his knife from Bates' back, and began stalking towards us, but then, I got a great idea, we began opening tanks of ether strewn about the room, and, when we had opened all of them, I grabbed a can of lighter fluid Edward had given me, and then splashed it all over Renfield, finally, we locked him in the operating room, and I threw a lit match into the room, which set off an explosion, and made us some roast Renfield
