If I am going to be completely honest with you guys I have not said anything to Joe or even texted him. I know crazy right? Well after admitting to myself that I like Joe I kind of freaked myself out. So I have just avoided him as much as possible. That was until one day we were rehearsing at the same time the players were practicing. Me and Sadie were watching them and Joe was just not throwing the ball like he normally does.
Joe
After Taylor went to confront Stacey I haven't heard from her. It kind of threw me off especially because I don't know exactly why she's doing it. Today we were having our first week of practice and I was not in the right state of mind because of the whole situation. So every time I would try and throw the ball to Ja'Marr or someone it would either be too high, too low, or just not spiraling right.
I can tell it was pissing everyone off too. I try one more time and go to throw at Ja'Marr and it was just slightly too high making me sigh wanting to kick myself in the ass for it. Coach blows the whistle and it's an angry whistle "Burrow! What is happening!?" he says and walks up. I take my helmet off and turn to him "Just a lot on my mind right now couch" I say as he stops in front of me.
He sighs and thinks "How about you just take a run and I will work on defense so you can get yourself together ok?" he suggests and I nod. He blows the whistle again calling for defense making me walk to put my helmet down. When I set it down I look to the side and there she is. She looks absolutely beautiful in her bengals sports bra and leggings. God if I can just know why she's acting like this. While standing there I feel a hand on my shoulder "Man you ok?" Ja'Marr asks and I shrug "Just thinking about the Taylor situation" I say truthfully taking a sip of water. He gives me a look "Why not talk to her?" he asks and I shrug "I don't know man maybe I will after practice" I say and he nods "We need your mind to be in the game soon" he says making me laugh slightly
After practice I walked out and seen Taylor talking to her friends so I walked up "Uh hey Taylor" I say making her look at me "Oh hi Joe" she says then gives her friends a look to go away "Um can we talk?" I ask as they walk away and she nods.
Taylor
I was so not expecting Joe to come up to talk to me especially since I knew exactly why he came up. We step off to the side finding a bench outside and sit it "So I think you know why I want to talk" he says making me sigh and nod "Yeah, I'm really sorry for how I've been acting Joe" I say looking at him. He looks at me "Why?" he asks and I look at my hands "Um...well I have um I made a realization the other day when I confronted Stacey and it kind of just terrified me" I said truthfully the looking back up at him "What did you realize?" he asks confused "Um that I um...I like you?" I admit making him smile "You do?" he asks getting funny and I nod laughing a bit "Yeah I do" I say.
He nods and looks ahead "Good thing I like you too then huh?" he asks making me blush and nod "Yeah it's a really good thing" I say laughing. He smiles looking back at me "I guess now is a good time to ask if you'd like to go on a date with me?" He asks and I nod "I would love to" I say "How about tonight?" He asks kind of taking me by surprise but I nod "Yeah I would love that" I say as he stands up and then helps me up "Good, I will come and get you at 7" he says and I just nod "See ya then" he says walking back to his car.
I just smile and then run to my car where Abby and them are sitting inside. I get in and look at them "Um I have a date" I say and they all squeal "No way!" Sadie says and I nod smiling "Yes way!" I laugh. Abby starts driving "Wait at what time?" she asks and I check my phone "7 so I have three hours to get ready" I say "Thank god you guys are coming over so you can help" I say making them get excited.
Once at the house I shower quickly and then start to go through my clothes. I had texted Joe and he said casual so I grab a pair of jean shorts and a tank top.

Once that's done I go to start my makeup deciding to just leave my hair in its natural waves. I hear the doorbell ring and Abby letting Joe in so I quickly throw on a pair of flip flops grabbing my phone and purse. I put on some perfume and then walk down and up to where they are.
Joe looks amazing in just a white tshirt, pair of jeans, and sneakers. His hair is like how I imagine a prince charmings hair would be. He must have heard me walking over because he looks at me and smiles "Wow you look beautiful" he says making me blush "Thanks Joe" I say as he hands me the flowers that he has. They're the prettiest white and yellow flowers "Awh you didn't have to do that" I say taking them "I know I wanted to" he says as I hand them to Abby to put them into a vase with water. She smiles at how cute this all is "Ok you two go have fun and stay out late, but not too later Mister" she says pointing at Joe in a motherly way making him nod "Will do" he says opening the door for me letting me walk outside.
And off to the date we went.

Speaking of how are you guys feeling about this draft? I think for the Eagles we are doing amazing! Clearly Howie Roseman loves his Georgia Bulldogs because that is all we've been drafting! And we traded for D'Andre Swift who is ALSO a Georgia Bulldog and a Philly native! So I am thinking we will be getting another Super Bowl under our belt! And maybe a Bengals vs Eagles bowl!
