It's been about a week since Taylor told me she's pregnant and it still doesn't feel real. I can't believe I am a father. Right now it was the end of practice, luckily the cheerleaders are rehearsing till late, so I walked up to Ja'Marr "Wanna take a ride with me? I have to get something" I ask him making him look at me with a confused look "Whatcha gotta get?" he asks. I look around making sure no one is paying attention and then turn to Ja'Marr and say low "I have to go pick up a ring" I say.
Ja'Marr however still looks confused so I just laugh and shake my head "Come on" I say walking out with him to my car, me and Taylor drove here separately since she didn't have to be here till later, and get in with Ja'Marr. He looks at me "What ring?" he asks and I just laugh "Think why I need a ring and was talking low when we were in the locker room?" I say making him think and then he gasps "No way!" he says and I laugh nodding driving to the ring store.
-At the store-
I purposely picked a store that was a bit secluded so no one would know I'm here. We both walk in and the guy behind the counter looks up and smiles "Mr. Burrow! So happy to see you! Let me go get the ring ok?" he says and I nod "Of course, take your time" I say as he walks off. I turn to Ja'Marr "You can't tell anyone about this ok?" I say seriously and he nods "You got it" he says. I give him a serious look, Ja'Marr has been known to tell secrets regardless of who's secret it is or who he's telling. He shakes his head "Joe, this secret is safe with me ok?" he says and I just nod not believing it but I want to give him the benefit of the doubt.
The guy comes back out "Alright and here it is" he says opening a box. I look at it and smile, I had called Sophia about a month ago to ask her about what ring Taylor likes. Because let's be honest, if anyone would know it would definitely be Sophia. She told me to make sure it's unique and gold but not to get one too flashy because Taylor is a very simple person. So that's exactly the ring I got. It's a gold ring with a teardrop stone and some stones along the side.

I nod at the guy "That is absolutely perfect, thank you so much! How much is it?" I ask looking at the guy taking my car out. He tells me and I pay not caring how expensive the ring is. It's for my beautiful soon to be fiancée so price to me doesn't matter. We then say goodbye and me and Ja'Marr walk out and get into my car. He turns to me "I'm not going to lie, you did good picking the ring out" he says and I laugh "We can thank Sophie for that one, I asked her what Taylor liked" I say and he smiles "Now how are you proposing? And when?" he asks.
I think "I know I want to do it soon since it's still off season, how? I don't know I have to ask Sophie and Abby for help with that" I say. He nods and thinks "Well we got a lot of planning to do then' he says.
I cant believe I am going to ask her to marry me soon.

I said if the Phillies win on Tuesday I will update and boy did they win! 10-0! We got 6 more topper! 2 more in the NLCS before we're in the World Series!
