The Bengals ended up winning the game and I couldn't be happier! Joe absolutely KILLED it! Me and Abby were waiting in the tunnel for when the boys came through. Ja'Marr was first and walked away with Abby. I smiled because they are honestly just so cute. I see Joe coming through and I smile running up jumping on him wrapping my arms and legs around him "You did so good!" I say kissing all over his face as he laughs holding me.
He keeps walking and then puts me down once we're in the tunnel further "Thanks babe" he says kissing my head wrapping his arm around my shoulder as we walk together to the locker rooms "So since the game ended in enough time I say me and you go out like dress fancy and go to dinner" he says making me look up at him and I smile nodding "I would love that" I say.
He smiles and stops in front of the door to the locker room "Ok I will pick you up at your place" he says leaning in kissing me. I kiss back as the locker room door opens "Ugh get a room you two" Sadie says then walks away. I laugh pulling away "I'll see you later" I say and walk into the locker room smiling.
-Later on-
I had just taken an everything shower and am currently going through my closet which has made my room look like a tornado went through it. Abby comes up and knocks "Come in!" I yell from my closet hearing the door open "Oh my god Taylor what happened?" she asks and I peak my head out "Joe is taking me on a fancy dinner day and I don't know what to wear" I say huffing.
She nods and goes through my options "Oh this one's pretty" she says holding up a red silk dress that stops just below the knee and has a slit up the side. I don't know how I passed it because I love it "Perfect" I say putting the rest to the side. I see a text from Joe saying he will be there in about an hour "Oh lovely I have a hour before he's here!" I say stressing "Ok ok, relax I will do your hair while you do your makeup ok?" she says and I nod sitting in front of my mirror starting on my makeup while she does my hair.
I blend my eyeshadow when she asks "So what was with the kiss on the field?" making me look at her through the mirror and smile "Um well when I called Joe earlier he said I love you to me which took me by surprise hence why I was messing up the routines earlier" I say finishing up my eyeshadow while talking "And well Kara had me wait for a bit before going back with you guys and while I was looking at Joe I just realized that I love him so I walked up and kissed him and told him that I love him too" I say blushing.
Abby finishes curling my hair "Awh! That's so cute! You two are adorable together" she says making me chuckle "Are you kidding? Have you seen you and Ja'Marr" I say finishing up with lip gloss loving how my make up looks. She blushes and smiles "Ok finish getting ready" she says making me laugh as she walks out.
I put my dress on loving how it's fitting tonight along with a pair of black ankle strap heels checking myself in the mirror and it all looks so good. I put on all of my jewelry and grab my clutch and phone as there's a knock on the door "Abby can you get it!" I call down as she does so.
I spray on some perfume and then walk out of my room. I walk down the stairs to where Joe and Abby are talking. Joe looks at me hearing my heels and goes speechless making Abby turn around "Gawd Dayum Tay! May just snatch her off of you Joe!" Abby says making us both laugh.
I walk over and kiss him on the lips "Ew not around me" Abby says walking off. I roll my eyes and pull away as Joe hands me roses "Awh Joe these are beautiful" I say and then see Abby come back to take them for me "You two go have fun but not too much fun" she says jokingly.
We both walk out and go to his car "You look very handsome tonight Joe" I say making him smile and blush slightly "Thank you, you look absolutely beautiful" he says making it my turn to blush. He opens the door for me and helps me in the car.
Once he's in he drives away "So where we going?" I ask and he shrugs "You'll see" he says making me give him a look "Joe..." I say and he smirks "Just trust me ok?" he asks and I nod. I cant help but think about the kiss earlier at the game "Did anyone ask you about the kiss at the game?" I ask and he nods "Mostly the press but I kept it to a minimum not giving too much details" he says making me smile.
That's one of many things I love about Joe. He loves keeping our relationship to ourselves and like occasionally we will be public, such as earlier at the game, but most times we're not. I must have been lost in my thoughts because next thing I know Joe is pulling up to the FANCIEST and most EXPENSIVE restaurant in the city making me look at him "Joe.." I start as he gets out and runs to my side opening the door for me.
He helps me out and I give him a look "Oh don't worry about it ok? I wanted to spoil you tonight" he says taking my hand leading me to the restaurant. I just stay silent and walk in with him. We walk up to the hostess and Joe speaks up "Hi reservation for Burrow" making the hostess nod and lead us to the table which is at a private part of the restaurant but is just perfect. The hostess walks away after saying a waiter will be with us shortly.
Our waiter soon comes up and we order then he walks away and it's just us again. I look at Joe and smile just thinking how literally a few months ago I was at home working my stupid coffee shop job and now I am in Cincinnati as a Bengals cheerleader dating the number one quarterback in the NFL who is the absolute love of my life.
Joe must have noticed me lost in thought because he asks "What's that pretty little head of yours thinking about?" making me smile at how cute he is "Just how not even a few months ago I was working at a job I hated in Philly and now I am here as a cheerleader dating you" I say making him smile.
The waiter soon puts our food down and then walks away. I take a bite of my pasta, which is just a fancy fettuccine and alfredo, making me moan because of how good it is. Joe takes a bite of his steak doing the same thing making us both laugh a bit. I take a sip of my wine as Joe asks "Do you regret leaving home and coming here?" Which kind of takes me off guard.
I shake my head no "Not one bit, honestly I feel like it was fate that I ended up here I mean I auditioned to be a Eagles cheerleader three times and each time I never made it past the first or second round so I decided let's try a different city so I tried New England, Indianapolis, and here and honestly Cincinnati was the only one to call me back and we'll you know the rest" I say making him smile "And if I hadn't of auditioned here then me and you wouldn't have happened and honestly it was the best thing to happen for me" I say truthfully.
He smiles nodding "I'm glad I slid into your DMs that night" he says making me laugh "I'm glad you did too" I say. We soon finish our dinner and drive to his house where we had a pretty steamy night.
