The day passed quickly, and we ended up watching the movie Interstellar. It was a good movie, but I think I'll need to watch it again just to be sure I understood all the complexities of the film correctly. The guys were all exhausted from last night's party, and most of them fell asleep on the couch. Only Kyle and I stayed awake to watch the whole thing.

"Did you have a good time last night?" I ask.

"If only you knew." He turns to me and gives me a huge smile. I laugh at his remarks and give him a little nudge on his shoulder. I'm so used to having these men in my life, I've seen plenty of women come and go, but nothing serious. They rarely introduce them to me unless they've spent the night at the house and must leave in the morning. You can imagine how awkward it can get knowing she won't be coming back, but they still have that face, "Pick me". I hate those kinds of girls. They don't have any self-respect, and is it just me, but are they the kind of girls that think they can change men into little puppies?

"But don't worry, you'll always be my princessa" he adds.

"As if that was ever a question!"

"Some might be jealous," he says with a malicious smile.

"Stop talking nonsense. They're going to have to deal with this."

"I'm just saying, when we get girlfriends, it will be different" he replies, raising his hands in the air. I don't pay any more attention to what he's saying and I get the remote to choose another movie. Of course, I know it'll be different I'm not stupid.

We nestle back in our position, and maybe 2 hours later, we finish the movie and then fall asleep like the others on the couch. When I wake up, Lucas is two inches from my face, waiting for me to react I assume. What is he doing?

"You can't be any creepier, can you?" I say, startled.

"It's almost 10 pm, lazy bone," he says.

"What? 10 pm?"

"Come on, hurry up before Cole shows up."

"Shit, you couldn't have woken me up earlier?"

"Not my fault you fell asleep." He replies. He goes back into the kitchen, and I quickly climb the stairs to get ready for tonight's mission. I put on black jeans and a black shirt, brushed my black hair, put it in a ponytail, and ran to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I take my white mask that I always wear, so that no one recognizes me, and then I sit in the living room while Enzo arrives followed by Kyle and Lucas. The front door opens on Cole who enters wildly angry. He always looks angry, but now he seems angrier than usual. That's just my opinion.

I can feel that he's going to explode soon. He stands in the middle of the living room and begins to explain tonight's plan. "Kyle and Enzo, you'll do the delivery, making sure the shipment is transferred without any problems, understand?"

"Understood," they say.

"Lucas and I will be a bit behind to make sure no one passes or sees us and Leila, you'll be up high in an overwatch position to observe the surroundings, and you'll let us know if there are any changes."

"No problem," I say.

"No one deviates from the original plan, and everyone stays in position, I want no mistakes this time," he says looking at me. Idiot.

We get up from the couch and leave the house to get to the car. The ride is fairly quick, and we're finding ourselves at the delivery location in no time. We put on our white masks and get out of the car to take our positions. Everything must go as smoothly as a cucumber. I started to look for a place that would allow me to observe each one of them in case something went wrong. I need to be able to see from a distance what's going on and alert them if anything happens. I finally found a spot that could allow me to see the guys. Cole signals to me that the truck is arriving and that I should closely look for intruders if there are any. Meanwhile, Enzo and Kyle stand straight facing the truck, waiting for it to park. Cole and Lucas remain alert, holding their weapons tightly. I look around to be sure the plan is going smoothly, so we can get home safely tonight. They started unloading the goods from the truck and putting it in our car. Everything seems to go well and without problems which is pretty good. Afterward, we were going to bring the delivery back to our warehouse. I do one last check-up and get off my post, then head towards the guys, who are now gathered around the truck. For now, the mission is going according to plan.

"Lucas, Kyle, and Enzo, you will take the car and follow us. Leila and I will take the truck to the warehouse. Stay close just in case." Cole says. They nod and go to the car. Cole and I get into the truck without saying anything and settle in.

"You usually take Lucas with you, what's going on?" I ask.

"Nothing" he replies.

"Cole."

"Leila," he says facing me.

"I know something's wrong, so tell me!"

"You don't need to know, so shut up and let me drive."

I'm leaning my head against the window, hoping the ride goes by quickly. It must have been 30 minutes before we got to the warehouse, right when we thought everything had gone perfectly, something goes wrong.

"Leila, take the gun behind you. Quickly."

"What's going on?" I ask while taking the gun.

"The people in the car behind us aren't the guys' car and they're following us," he says, looking in the rear-view mirror. I turn to look at the car that's following us and find that he's right. It's getting close, real fast. "Aim for the tires, NOW," he adds. I don't hesitate and lower the window next to me and aim my gun at the car. I fired a shot, but I missed it.

"Fuck!" I aim at the car again and fired a second shot. "SHIT!" The car is moving from right to left to prevent me from aiming at their tires.

"Are you doing this on purpose or what? SHOOT THE TIRES!" he says, gritting his teeth.

"Ugh, you do it if you're not happy. I can't reach them." I pull my head back into the car, and in that instant, the car behind us pulls up beside us.

"Hold on," Cole says. Immediately, I hold on tight to the car as Cole tries to drive their car off the road by making them veer over. "Fuck! Where are the guys?" he mutters to himself. I hold firmly to the car when I hear another car arriving behind us. I turn to look, and see Enzo and Kyle sticking their heads out of their car window to shoot at the tires. They managed to hit one of them, and suddenly the car veers off to the side of the road, flipping over onto its side. I watched the scene until we're too far away to see the carnage. Cole speeds up to arrive as fast as possible at the warehouse and parks in the front. He gets out of the car in a rush, I follow him and stand in front of him.

"Who were they?" I ask.

"FUCK!"

"Cole?"

The others arrived, parked behind us, and joined us.

"Did you see that?" Kyle says while approaching us.

"We're not blind, idiot," Enzo replies.

"WHERE WERE YOU?" Cole shouts.

"They cut us off on the road and pushed us against the edge. We lost control for a few seconds." Lucas explains. Cole doesn't say anything, he furiously puts his hand through his hair and pulls it a bit. He's furious to know that Marcus won't be happy to hear that we had a problem during the delivery to the warehouse, but at least we still got it done.

"Transfer the shipment to the warehouse. I'll take Leila home" Cole adds.

"What?" I say, shocked.

"Not a word from you," he says, looking at me.

"You can count on us," Enzo says.

Cole takes me by the arm and throws me into the car. Lucas is always watching how Cole threats me and does absolutly nothing. He likes to show that he's strong and that he isn't scared of anything, but in front of Cole it's another story.

He closes the door and goes to the driver's side, where he takes place.

"Cole, I..." He doesn't let me finish as he interrupts me by taking my jaw in his hands.

"STOP TALKING, I CAN'T STAND YOUR FUCKING VOICE ANYMORE."

He lets go of me harshly and turns back to driving. But what did I do? Why is it my fault that these guys came onto us like that? I won't let him treat me like that, he'll see when we get home! I'm so tired of his attitude. I sink into my seat and hope the ride goes by as quickly as possible.
