Chapter 12-Why?

(Y/N's P.O.V)

You and Gray stood beside each other watching Lyon's body.

'So this is how they felt when I passed out'you thought.

Wendy was working overtime to get Lyon awake as fast as possible.Natsu was wolfing down food and Juvia was hiding from Gray glaring at you,her so-called 'love rival'.Wendy stopped and panted from exhaustion.

"That's all I could do"she said.

Lyon was shirtless and his body was exactly like Gray's.Lyon suddenly winced and slowly woke up,he sat up and winced and almost fell,you caught him and smiled.

"Guess we're even"he said smiling weakly.

"Guess so"

Lyon sat up and wore his shirt,a few grunts escaping his mouth.Juvia had somehow dragged Gray away and Natsu and Wendy were getting some more food,leaving you alone with Lyon.

"Why'd you do it?"you asked staring at the silver haired mage.

"Do what?"

"Save me when I was gonna get killed by the giant"

"Even if I was flung into space by your ice I coudn't let you die"

You smiled at him and he smiled back,you sat beside him and he slung his arm around your shoulder.You froze but made no move to stop him.

'It's the least I could do,he saved my life.Gray won't get jealous right?Right?'you thought.

"Thanks Lyon"

"Look Y/N I need to tell you something"

You knew he was going to confess but you didn't want to ruin the silver haired mage's moment.

"What is it?"you asked putting on fake curiousity.

"I like you,I know,I know you have Gray but I just wanted to let you know Y/N.Gray's lucky to have you"

You smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Thanks"

You helped him up and he fell but you caught him by putting your hand on his waist, after a while you got bored so you began playing with your ice make magic.Lyon watching you,you waited for the others and you made all sorts of things,then Gray bursted through the brush,Juvia following him you tilted your head.

"Let's just leave them to it,Juvia's bound to stop right?"

"I suppose so"

You watched as Gray was chased by Juvia saying his name over and over again,Natsu and Wendy weren't back yet and Lyon was avoiding your gaze,you yawned and Lyon looked at you.

"Tired already?"

"Hey I had a serious fight you numbskull!"I shouted.

"Actually you slept through the fight while me and Gray fought the giant"he said.

You slapped him and he hissed before lowering his head gritting his teeth.

"L-Lyon?Did I hit one of your wounds?"you asked worriedly.

He looked at you with a pained expression.

"Your so easy to trick you know"

I slapped his back and he laughed.

"Why is it every guy I know tricks me?"I said.

I looked away but stared at Lyon every once and awhile,I had to admit he had good looks and a great personality but I only think of him as a friend.I yawned again and placed my hands behind my head and leaned towards the tree and soon enough fell asleep...

(Gray's P.O.V)

I had somehow lost Juvia and came back to where Y/N was,I stood behind a tree and stared at Y/N and Lyon in curiosity.Y/N leaned on Lyon's shoulder and Lyon was awake watching her,suddenly Y/N moved and her head was on Lyon's chest,he turned red and I felt something go off inside of me.

'She's only sleeping,she doesn't know she's doing this'I repeatedly said.

"Gray's gonna kill me!What should I do?If I make an ice clone she'll wake up,if I move she'll wake up,uhhh anything I do results in waking her up!So that means she has to stay there and I get thrown into space by Gray's pointed spikes.Lucky me"Lyon said saying the last part sarcstically.

I took a step forward and Lyon looked,his eyes suddenly full of fear.

"G-Gray,i'm s-sorry she moved"he stuttered.

"It's fine,i'm not gonna send you to space.She's asleep,if she's awake then i'm gonna send you into space"I said.

I sat beside Y/N's sleeping form and looked up at the night sky,I looked at Lyon and he looked at me.

"Look,Lyon i'm sorry","Look,Gray i'm sorry"we said together.

We both were taken aback but Lyon then began explaining.

"Sorry for coming here in the mission when I wasn't suppose to.Sorry for being a cocky pain in the neck,sorry for almost killing Y/N awhile ago.And finally sorry for everything else i've done"Lyon said.

"It's fine,i'm sorry for shoiting at you.I'm sorry for starting a fight with you and for being an absolute jerk to you.I shoud've been more understanding"

Lyon looked at me and smiled.

"You finally made up"a voice said.

I turned and Natsu and Wendy were there,both of them with grins on their faces.

"You set this up?"me and Lyon asked together...
