A cold breeze fluttered through her light blonde hair, her pale skin dotted with goosebumps. Her eyes flickered around the forest as she took a bite from the blood red apple that sat in her hand.

"Cmon Alastor" Faith muttered, tapping her heel against her horses stomach.

The snow white horse trotted between trees, not taking notice of the cryo slices bouncing around.

"Stop" Faith commanded, causing Alastor to stand still.

Faith held the apple in her teeth and tugged her bow off her shoulder. Nicking an arrow and breathing deeply, the iron tip started to glow purple. Her aim stared straight into a deers forehead as it chewed on fauna that clawed through the snow.

She pulled the arrow back, the air still.

Thud

Faith let out a breath and slung her bow over her shoulder. Took a bite off the apple occupying her mouth and chewed it slowly.

"Onwards Alastor"

The horse walked slowly to the twitching deer, crimson liquid spilling from the hole in its skull. A blood soaked arrow stuck into the tree trunk behind it.

Faith picked the deer up by its leg and slung it over Alastors back, she fastened the legs around his belly with a long rope from Alastors side bag. Faith stepped over to the tree with the arrow, the purple shine fading out. She shrugged and walked away, she left her mark on the forest.

The dark pool in the snow and the purple arrow.

Faith tied Alastor into a private barn and untied the doe from his back. Which she then hung from a low hanging beam, Faith hummed to herself as she gutted and drained the deer.

"Clean shot" A voice cheered, accompanied with a few claps.

Faith let out a low groan and stared forward.

Quick steps hurried towards her, stopping next to her.

"Wow, Right through the skull. Didn't know that was possible" The man spoke excitedly, picking up the discarded head on the floor and stating through the hole.

"Got lucky I guess" Faith muttered, continuing with the doe.

"No, this is skill. With a bow I presume? You must be good" The cheery man questioned, turning his head to face Faith.

She turned to him.

Deep blue eyes met hers. They were soulless, empty.

"I'm better with a sword" Faith said calmly, staring into the man.

"Are you the new Harbinger Dottore spoke of?" He asked, walking around the girl, his eyes analyzing her.

"Brighella, The Viscount" She replied, lending him her gaze.

"Childe, Young Lord" He smiled back "How are you enjoying it so far?"

"Cleaning out my office was a pain, but my servant Nikita was very helpful" Faith took a breath before picking up a bucket of entails. "She told me I had no work for today but to stay on site incase I was needed"

The skinny man followed Faith to the forest, and watched her dump the unneeded organs.

"You don't feel remorse for that doe you killed?" He spoke after a minute of silence.

"None, she is just food to me, why should I feel remorse?" Faith snapped back, throwing her head over her shoulder to state knives into the man.

"What if she had fawns?"

"Food for the wolves"

Childe hummed.

Their feet crunched across the snow that coated the rocky path back to barn, an unsettled silence sat between them.

"Master!" A small voice shouted, along with speedy footsteps.

Faith eyes shot towards to the servant.

"Yes Nikita?"

"The Doctor has requested your presence"

"Tell him I will be there soon, I have to finish up here"

"Okay Master" The girl bowed and hurried off.

"He has taken a liking to you" Childe smirked, leaning against a post.

"Haha, now run along to who ever you must annoy next" Faith huffed as she wiped the blood from her hands and reholstered her carving knife.

"You're quite sassy Brighella" Childe laughed as he left the barn.

Faith's eyes bore into the ginger hair that bounced away from her.

"What a weirdo" She grinned.
