Finding a way might not have been as easy as Felix thought. It had been another week, a month already passing since felix was in Amorite and... nothing. Felix found nothing.

Apart from alliance meetings, Felix didn't have to see much of Chan, which was both good and bad.

Good because he was trying to avoid Chan, much to Chan's linking. Bad because he really wanted to see the older. He felt at peace when the other was in his eye line, he loved seeing him, even if Chan didn't want to see him.

It was both good and bad for Chan too, mostly for the same reason. He wanted Felix to stay away, he was glad that it seemed the younger was listening. But that didn't mean he wanted Felix completely gone from his sight, he felt comfort in seeing him. His bright smile, the ocean blue eyes and the stars scattered across his cheeks, especially when they're more prominent when Felix blushed.

So it was a mess of a week for both. Felix went to the library most days, sometimes nights, and would look for anything he could regarding Chan's brother. The others found out he'd do this and try to talk him out of it, but he wouldn't listen. He wanted to help Chan get out of whatever prison he thought he was living in.

But 3 days in he realised that Chan must have gotten rid of everything regarding his brother. If he threatened anyone who knew anything about his brother, just so it would stay hidden, why would he leave a dozen book that could disclose who he was. Felix was just lucky he was able to find that one book.

So Felix resulted in other libraries around the village, there were only two however, both unhelpful. It seemed Chan got rid of any books from outside the palace too, not just inside. Then he spoke to people around the village, subtly. He acted as a tourist who was visiting kingdoms and asking about the royal families of each.

There was an elderly man though, he said something about it being suspicious that the late queen was pregnant 28 years ago, but the current king who claimed he was an only child was 25 years of age. Chan was 25, which meant his brother was 28, why was the oldest son kept a secret since birth? That was what Felix needed to find out.

Turns out that was the only information he could get this last week, it was better than nothing though. Felix thought that if this went on any longer, he would go straight to Chan and ask him himself, he would risk the pain Chan may give him if it was a step closer to getting rid of Chan's pain.

He was walking the halls and stopped at the garden, a certain king in there reading a book in the warm summer sun. The sun made the crown on his head glisten and shine, his blond hair looking gold in the light. His fingers adorned in rings and his onyx orbs concentrated on his book. His hands held the book in a firm grip and Felix couldn't help but think how those hands would look wrapped around his neck, choking him until he couldn't breath underneath him.

The scar on his eye looked even more red in the sun, Felix has noticed. It was quite beautiful actually, it was like the scar was a sign of Chan's power and strength.

He shook his head, he could not be thinking these things right now. Right now he had a job to do. So, with careful steps, which he was sure Chan already heard judging by the pause in his eyes, he went closer to Chan and sat on the bench opposite him. Chan was sitting against one of the two trees in the garden. It was silent for a while until one spoke.

"Finally decided to show up in front of me?" It was the stupidest thing Chan could have ever said in his entire life.

"Wow, hypocrisy at its finest. Weren't you the one telling me stay away from you. I thought you'd be jumping in joy." It would be concerning if Felix didn't use sarcasm in his words.

"What do you want?" Chan asked, he wanted the conversation to keep going but Felix needed to go.

"What makes you so sure I want something? Maybe I just wanted to see you." Felix said in a quiet voice while looking right into those black eyes.
