"Fuck Chan we have some serious problems." Hyunjin said as he burst into the throne room.
"What now Hyunjin, we have other things to deal with?" Chan said. He was reviewing final details for war, which Chan planned they would leave first thing in the morning.
"Yeah that's going to have to wait. The Southern kingdom are on Arras's side and they just deployed an army to come attack Amorite. War started early Chris." Wow, Hyunjin hasn't called Chan Chris in almost 10 years, and that too only in the most serious situations.
"Alert Changbin to prepare our military. They want a war? We'll give them a bloodbath." Hyunjin nodded and left to find all necessary personal to begin to fight. This was really happening.
"Chan!" It was Jackson who now burst into the thrown room. His hands were on his knees as he caught his breath, it seemed he was running.
"What now?" Chan said as he dismissed army commanders and lieutenants.
"I found the prison where Felix and Yugyeom are." Now that really caught Chan's attention. His head shot up and he walked straight to Jackson.
"How?" Chan asked. In all honesty he didn't care how but he still wanted to know.
"I had a guard on the inside. He's been searching for the past two weeks." Jackson explained.
"Why didn't you say that you had someone on the inside?" Chan was so annoyed at the delay of this vital information.
"You didn't trust me and I thought you'd try to interfere and loose all chances at finding them." Okay Chan had to admit that Jackson wasn't completely wrong since Chan would end up taking things into his own hands.
"They're in the second prison. It's also the prison with the most security measures." The last part was useless to Chan.
"Who said we're sneaking in? We're burning the place down." Chan was already exited the room with his sword in hand. And Jackson just nodded.
"We could do that too." And follwed behind the blond king.
Heavy is the head that bares the crown yet Chan wore it like a feather, there's strength in his heart and determination in his eyes, the will to live residing within in soul. That's how you know what a true king Chan was.
How everyone looked up to him was endearing. He would do anything for what and who he believe in, cares about, loves. And it was so damn admirable.
But the second Chan stepped outside he stopped in his tracks, frozen. There really hasn't been a war in Amorite for 15 years and now Chan was looking at one. His soldiers fighting for their lives against their enemies. The people of Amorite were already alerted a week prior to stay indoors and whoever wanted to volunteer to fight, could.
Chan looked around and saw the icy black metal armour of Amorite, the golden yellow armour of Endora and the navy blue armour of the South. He saw blood, swords, spears, arrows and horses. He looked around and saw Changbin fighting with his sword and shield against two soldiers, but Changbin could beat them considering their size compared to him.
He saw Hyunjin with the same weapon but no shield as he fought off a southern soldier who wielded a spear, Jeongin was right beside him fighting his own share of soldiers. It was the same with Minho and Jisung, except Minho's preferred weapons was a bow and arrows, he knocked down the soldiers from their horses and Jisung fought them with his sword. The perfect combination of death. Those two also staying side by side.
It seemed everyone had their person except Chan, because his was locked up suffering somewhere. The thought made his heart hurt and his thirst for Jinyoung's blood stronger. He was going to enjoy killing for once, okay that was a lie.
