Felix really did have power over Chan, but he made sure to use it wisely. Like to let Chan beat him in a race.

"I'll race you back?" Chan had said and Felix immediately turned down the idea since he didn't even know the way.

But somehow Chan convinced him and here they were, surprisingly he was wining but when he had no clue where they were, he had to slow down and wait for Chan to go ahead, which is why this was so not fair.

"Chan, let me win?" He shouted after Chan and Chan just laughed and made his horse go even faster.

"Now why would I do that Lixie?" Chan shouted back and Felix decided he'll take a short cut. They were using a path right now so Felix decided to shortcut through the woods, following only his instincts and get ahead of Chan.

So he led his horse through the woods and ran between the trees. He went faster and came out at a clearing, he looked back to see Chan behind him and he smiled in victory as they could see the village more clearly now.

And now they were here, both leading their horses back to the stables after Felix won their race. Chan was pouting since he was suppose to win, they were both very competitive if you hadn't noticed.

They walked hand in hand into the castle, Felix giggling at Chan since the the older wouldn't let that win go. But who they didn't see, was Jackson, hiding behind some pilar near the entrance.

He was exiting the castle until he saw the two coming and decided to hide. Their lovey-doveyness made him smile. They were so in love it was beautiful. It reminded him of his own lover, who's life was in danger. But now is not the time to think about that.

When he saw they passed, he went out, he passed the guards saying he was visiting the village and when he made sure no one was following him, he changed his direction and went behind the palace. It was quite a long walk actually, to go all the way around and try to stay hidden, but he had to take precautions.

Soon he saw a man dressed in royal armour, not Amorite's or Endora's, but Arras'. It was a silver armour with markings of their royal symbols. The man also wore a helmet.

"Prince, the king is waiting for an update?" The soldier asked and Jackson just rolled his eyes. So impatient.

"Tell him that his plan may not work at all. That king Chan is already courting someone he is very much in love with." Jackson said, he knew this wouldn't work, Chan always saw his as a friend and nothing more.

"Yes my prince." The guard said and left, most likely on his way to tell his king the information Jackson just disclosed.

Jackson just sighed, this is really not what he wished would happen, he simply wanted to marry the love of his life who is now held captive by his father unless Jackson did something he never thought he'd do. How unfair life was.

He went back to the castle and gave up on his efforts to flirt with Chan, he didn't want to anyway, he was happy for his childhood best friend to have found someone he loved unconditionally. Instead he went and found Changbin and Hyunjin near the kitchen talking, it seemed they were taking a break. Just like Chan, he was also friends with Hyunjin when they were young.

"Hi Hyunjin." He said shyly, he didn't know how the other would react after not talking to him for so long and Jackson had been in the palace for a few days, almost a week.

"Hey Jackson, or prince?" He was confused on whether he should use honourifics or not.

"Please just call me Jackson, we were friends too." Jackson said and Hyunjin smiled brightly.

"Am I missing something?" Changbin aksed.

You see, Changbin hadn't been in the palace all his life like Hyunjin and Minho so he didn't grow up with Chan, meaning he had no idea of anything. Chan saw his amazing fighting skills when Changbin tried out to be a regular soldier.
