I feel Danny wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me into the house.

"Follow me" The strange man runs into his house with us right behind him.

I felt my face heat up when I realized Danny's hand was still around my waist. We head down these stairs that lead to a basement filled with shelves stacked with supplize.The door had more locks than I have seen in my entire lifetime.

"Put as much things as you can in those bags" He points to bags in the corner.

Danny lets go of me, which makes the excitement I once had go away. He pointed to another corner and gave me a look that said "hide" so I went behind the boxes in the corner. As I watched Addy and Danny pack a bag, I felt useless, just another load on their shoulder.

"Okay we got to go" The strange man opened a tunnel in the wall.

Danny walked over to me, handing me a bag and pulling me towards the tunnel. His hands are so very soft.

"Carlos's baby we missed you" Aunty A said as she went into the tunnel.

"Si, Tia, I missed you more" The strange man, Carlos, crawled into the tunnel after her.

"Go fast" Danny rushes me in and is fast behind me.

" Just a little farther Tia than those mal (evil) scientist will have a hard time following us" I can't see Carlos but i can hear the amusement in his voice.

I feel something above us and whatever it is it isn't happy. The others don't seem to hear it, making me wonder if it's in my head. I squint my eyes to block the light ahead.

"I see the end darlings!" Addy speeds up.

The light gets colder, we've been in here for like 5 minutes and the light is blinding. Finally, we reach the end and get out one of the times. I look around and we're in a forest. While I'm stretching Danny comes over to me and whispers in my ear "Nice ass"

My face heats up as I remember Danny was behind me in the tunnel. I cover my face and hear him chuckle. He walks away towards Aunty A and Carlos.

"Carlos how've you been" Danny hugs carols.

"I've better now that my amigos are here" I walk over to them, and Carlos immediately pull me towards him, making me breath heavily, "And who is this Belleza (beauty)" I smile awkwardly.

"I'm Emma, nice to meet you" He winks at me.

"And she's off the market" Addy grabs me from Carlos and laughs a little.

Carlos chuckles and looks at Danny "ohhhh I get it now."

Danny shakes his head, "We can't stay here, we have to find somewhere to hide out."

"I know a place follow me" We follow Carlos through the woods.

As we're walking, we hear a ringtone. Everyone Looks at me since the sound is coming from my back pocket. I take my phone out to see who's calling me, the caller ID shows "Dad". My eyes open wide, and I look to Danny who nods for me to answer it.

I answer the phone and put it on speaker, "Hello."

"Hey Emma, are you okay" my dad's voice comes from the other side.

I look at Danny and shake my head.

"Who is this," Addy and Carlos give each other a confused look.

"It's your daddy who else would be" i hang up immediately and drop to the ground.

"That wasn't him" My eyes stay wide.

"Moon pie, how do you know?" Addy bent down to my level.

"H-he never calls me by my name, He knows i hate calling him...... That and he knows I'm with Danny why would he call," i started talking fast making Addy hug me.

"He's in danger," my eyes darted to him with tears flowing down my face.

"No, it could be a voice changer" They all refuse to look at me.

"Amar, I'm sorry the scientists are good but not that good," Carlos said, still not looking at me.

"And we will but I promised your father I would keep you safe no matter what '' I tried to speak but Addy stopped me.

We started to walk again, this time in silence. Danny and Addy stood in front of me and Carlos.

"Do they know where they're going," I whisper to Carlos.

"This was our first hideout ever," my smirk appeared on his face.

"Wow this place must be old," I joked.

"Oof, that hurt Preciosa" He put his hand to his heart.

"Did you just call me a beautiful girl?"

"You know your Spanish?" he looked at me from the corner of his eye.

"Not really, I would love to learn though" I smirked at her.

"And I would love to teach you" we both laughed a little

All of a sudden, we stopped in front of a cabin. Addy put her hand to her mouth and Carlos started laughing. When Danny opened the door Carlos and Addy ran in, hugged, danced, and laughed. My eyes wander around their "Hideout" which was an abandoned bar. I look over to Danny who takes out 2 glasses.

"Aren't you a little young," I laugh and sit on a stool.

"With everything we've been through, its well-deserved" He smirks at me.

He Puts 2 glasses in front of me and pours whiskey into them. He pushes one of the glasses towards me with a wink. I eye him but pick up the glass, nonetheless. I turn around at the sound of the music. I watch Carlos and Addy dance together.

"It's been too long since we've all been in the same room." Danny leans over the counter

"I'm sorry"

"We get by" he gives me a weak smile, "We should be safe here for a few days."

"Darling come join us" Addy pulled me towards them and i started dancing.
