Emma's Pov

I drag Jay out of the room leaving my father's lifeless body behind. I stand Jay onto his feet and push him forward. He starts walking towards the control room as my eyes wander the halls. When I wasn't paying attention, he stopped and pulled something out of his pocket.

I walk closer to him, spin him around and pin him against the wall. I take what he is holding just to see it was a phone. He texted someone saying, 'sound the alarms. I throw him to the ground with fire in my eye.

Danny's Pov (this is before and after Emma found her dad dead)

I feel my heart racing as I walk outside with jake. Once we get to where everyone was hiding Mia runs to jake. He collapses in her arms crying. She hugs him and walks him over to sit against a tree. I look at my watch. It's only been 3 minutes since I left Emma. I start to pace and Addy notices this. She gets up from where she was sitting and walks over to me.

"Where's Emma?" She asked. I just looked at her with tears fighting to escape my eyes.

"Still inside," Her eyes widened, "She has about 7 minutes before I go in there and storm the place." I wipe away the tears before the fall. She nods and goes to look out for Emma.

Danny's Pov

Five minutes goes by, and Emma still hasn't come out. I start to hyperventilate and pace faster. Then I hear the vent open. I rushed over to see who was coming out. I saw one of the scientists who disappeared. My eyes watered as I remembered how she would talk to us, protect us from other scientists, and be a mom for us. With her I see Lilo but no Emma.

As they walk over to us Carlos runs up and hugs Lilo tightly. I start to walk towards the building. Lilo grabs my arm and looks sternly into my eyes. "She has 2 more minutes," I take a deep breath and nod my head. I feel a lump in my throat as I hear an alarm. I look down at my watch to see she has 1 more minute.

"Fuck it!" I shake off Lilo and run towards the lab. Fuck the vent. I head straight for the front door. As I enter the building, I can hear the others calling out for me, but I just ignore it. The only thing that matters is That Emma is safe.

Emma's Pov

I go into the control room and see about 50 different screens. Somewhere of family's others are kids and teens. "There are all the test subjects, "I whisper to myself. I put one of my hands to my ear as the alarms started to get to me. I look through the file cabinets. I found one that says, "The others."

I drop to my knees as my ears start to ring. I feel the ground start to shake. I open the folder to see every name, address, and facility this place has to offer.

I look over to Jay who is leaning on the wall. "What is this?" I want to know the answer. He smirks and starts to laugh a little.

"You're holding a list of every test subject in every one of our labs. I give him a look of horror.

"There's more!?" he nods, "And what about the families on the screens and these addresses?" I questioned him. He laughed some more than looked at me with the craziest looking eyes I've ever seen.

"Those moms and dads will be killed, then our agents will take the kids from the adoption agency," The ground shakes more and pieces of the roof start to fall, "They will become lab rats just like your little friends." I felt anger start to boil inside me but then I was knocked to the floor. I was laying on my back as everything seemed to shake more and more.
