Chapter 1: Liyue

"Thanks you so much Xiangling!" Paimon says

"Paimon will make sure ur food will be devoured in no time!" Xiangling let's put a giggle.

"Thank you Xiangling, how much will it be?" Lumine says while taking a quick bite.

"C'mon.. ur my friends, I wont charge u-"

"No u have to, u can't give out free food."

"Well if you insist.. that will be 3050 mora." Lumine grabs her wallet, Paimon is munching on her food. Lumine hands Xiangling the mora. "Thank you, see you next time!"

"See you soon!" Paimon and Lumine shout. Lumine is munching on the food, so delicious..

"Let's head to the mountains and place our tent there." Lumine says with a full mouth. "Paimon thinks that's a great idea!" They head to the mountains and set up a tent. It's already late, Paimon and Lumine fall asleep.

It's the middle of the night, but you can still see the orange horizon. There's a loud sound outside and Lumine immediately wakes up and investigates.

She sees a red-headed child outside, it looks like a smaller version of that Childe. Wait a minute.. Lumine tought. Teucer!? She rushes towards the direction and sees the ruin guard trying to attack Teucer.

Lumine's sword appears in her hands and she hits the sword on the weak spot and the ruin guard fades away. She rushes to see if Teucer's okay.

"Hey, Teucer. Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

"Wait I know you.. ur the nice lady!" Lumine giggles.

"Let's get you to safety, u can't stay here."

Lumine drags Teucer to the tent and tucks him in in her bed.

As Teucer falls asleep Lumine sits on the corner of the mountain and looks at the horizon. Thinking about Teucer, she think about Childe's and Teucer's relationship. It makes her think of her and Aether.

"Aether.. when will you come back for me..?"

She looks around and the tent.. it disappeared? She looks everywhere.. but nothing.

Suddenly she hears a voice coming from Liyue harbor. She rushes of the mountain and runs in Liyue harbor. There is no one. Not a single person.

She decided to go to Hu Tao's funeral office. She knocks on the door but no one. She tried ever house, Yelan, Zhongli, Nigguang, Keqing, Xiangling and even Ganyu, nobody was there.

Then she heard the voice again. She tried to take a closer look. There were two people, it looks like.. Aether..? And.. Childe? They were fighting. She tried to reach for Aether, but then an arrow shot her, a blue hydro arrow.

Lumine slowly wakes up, Teucer in her hands.

She wakes both Paimon and Teucer up and takes them to Liyue harbor for some breakfast.

"Well Teucer, what would you like to eat for breakfast."

"My brother always made me pancakes!" Oh yeah right.. she forgot about Childe, it was like Teucer was her own little brother. Lumine made some quick pancakes and handed them to Teucer.

"I like them." Teucer says mouth-full.

"I'm glad." Lumine smiles. After Teucer's done they walk towards northland bank to find Childe.

"Hello! Welcome to northland bank, how may I help you?"

"We're looking for my brother!"

"And who's that?"

"His name is Ajax! He's the best brother in the whole world!"

Ajax? Lumine tought

"He also goes by the name Childe? Or Tartaglia? The orange-headed person with gray clothing?"

"I think he might possibly be inside, I think I've just seen him."

"Alright we'll go take a look! Thank you."

"No problem"

They walk inside and in the middle of the bank there's a tall orange-headed person.
"Brother!" Teucer sprints towards his brother.

"Wait I know that voice, if it isn't my little brother Teucer!" Teucer jumps in Childe's arms and hugs him.

"I've missed you so much!"

"I missed you too." After a while Childe puts down Teucer.

"Mrs. nice lady helped me!" Childe looks towards Lumine and Paimons direction, he looks surprised.

"Thank you for taking care of him Lumine."

"It was no biggie." Lumine crosses her arms.

Paimons and Lumine were about to walk out the door when a voice stopped them, "wait, let me take you out to dinner, as a thank you."

Paimons eyes lit up. "We're fi-" "Paimon will accept that!" Lumine giggles silently and could notice Childe staring at her. "Let's go then." Lumine walked out the door and Paimon flying after her.

After dinner, they walked up in the mountains. Paimon and Teucer were ahead trying to find a 'treasure'.

"I haven't seen or spoken to you in a while." Childe says.

"I was just doing my missions, hoping everyday that someone has any information about my brother. But no one seems to know a thing, I feel like they're just using me."

"Wow Lumine, you've never opened up like that to me before."

"Oh I'm sorry- I just.. I'm tired, I've been seeing things lately."

"No no. It's okay, feel free to tell me everything."

"We're not that close.." Lumine smiles weakly feeling awkwardness "I shouldn't have opened up like that."

"Oh right.. so anywhere ur going sooner or later?"

"I'm thinking about departing to Sumeru."

"Interesting. What reason?"

"..."

"Oh right I'm sorry."

"No, I'm sorry for not trusting you."
