Chapter 4: The abyss

She enters the abyss, again a huge galaxy around her. She had her sword ready to face anything she met. She set a timer to record how long she has been there. She starts walking around, she starts setting her journey towards the moon. But this time there seems to be nothing, has he left? But how does she get out?

Lumine looks at the timer, it has been months. She tried to leave many times, but she fails every time. She survives on little lakes she finds and some food she finds. The moon gets bigger every time. But she's tired, and and bruised up. She doesn't want to continue, she wants to find Aether already.

Then she sees a person standing in the distance, she wants to run towards it, but her legs want to give up. She wants to scream, but her voice wants to give up. She holds her arm, that is badly bruised.

She can finally see who it is, Childe. He sees her and runs towards her catching her before she falls. "Why are you here?" She groans. "Out of anyone, why you?" Childe seems disappointed. "Because.. it doesn't matter, what does is that you're alive." Lumine pulls away from him keeping to walk towards the moon, Childe just stands there watching her walk away.

"Why the moon?" He asks. She stands still turning around. "My brother.. he always adored the moon. We used to run towards the moon at night." She smiles a bit. She continues walking and falls, Childe rushes to her.

"Stop! I don't need your help." He just stands there watching her struggle. "Lets go home Lumine.. it's not safe here." She pushes her sword in the floor and leans on it. "That place was never my home, it never even felt like a home!" She turns around with her sword in her hand. "I'm not ever going back there, im staying here, finding my brother.." He stares at her in disbelief.

"Y-you can't do that! What about everyone?"

"Everyone there is pathetic! Can't they solve their own fucking problems?"

"What about Paimon."

"She's an annoying little creature that follows you around and complains.." Lumine stares at him angrily.

Childe's bow appears.

"There's only one way to get you out of here."

In no time the galaxy turned into liyue harbor, there's no one. I think im getting a deja vu? Lumine tought. Out of nowhere Aether appears.

"You fight my sister, you fight me." Childe look at the twins in shock. "Lumine, get away from here, ur badly injured." Lumine did as Aether told her. Aether and Childe began to duel. As Childe shot an arrow, Aether dodged it, sending it straight into Lumine's arm. Lumine flies into the wall.

"Lumine!" Aether shouts. Childe runs towards Lumine and Aether noticed that. Aether was about to slash Childe, but Lumine jumped infront, getting her leg slashed. "Stop!" She shouted. They both stared how bad she look. "A-are you okay?" Childe says. Aether seems to had disappeared. "I-im fine.. I just need to sit.." Lumine walks away but her legs give up on her, and finally her whole body did.
