Chapter 3: Confused and betrayed

Lumine falls out an portal behind them. They immediately turn around to check on her. "Lumine!" Childe rushes to her trying to reach for her.

Lumine pushes his arm away walking to the cave holding her stomach. She's trying to create the portal again, but she's to weak. "Why won't it work!?" She groans, she tries and tries, but nothing works.

"Lumine.. u shouldn't-" Lumine remembered what Aether had said about him.

She pushes him against the wall holding both his shoulders. "You- you asshole!" She starts to cry. "I told you about I felt getting used! And so did you..!?"

"Lumine what are you talki-"

"You and my brother knew eachother and you didn't say a thing..? You knew where he was god dammit!" Tears roll down her cheek.

Childe stares worried at her, Lumine pulls away from him, she puts both her hands on her head, she has a huge headache.

"Lumine, you should rest." Dain mentions. "I don't need no rest..! You think I'm weak too!?" She pulls out her sword. Both Childe and Dain are trying to calm her down. Paimon hiding behind Dian. She faces her sword from both to Dain and then Childe, repeating that. But then she feels dizzy, she faints.

Lumine wakes up seeing a black and green haired fox talking to a orange-haired and a blonde-haired guy. She sits straight and holds her head. They all look at her and Lumine notices who they are.

"I don't want him here!" She groans. "Get him out." They all look at Childe who has a sad face. He walks out standing outside waiting.

"How are you feeling?" Dain asks. "I don't know.. I feel confused and betrayed." Lumine tells him.

"She should be alright, just give her this medicine." Tighnari hands Dainsleif a medicine.

Lumine tries to stand up holding into Dains shoulder. "Thank you Tighnari." Lumine says. "No worries!" Tighnari says with a smile. "Collei should be waiting outside for you, she's glad to see you again."

Lumine walks outside hugging Collei. "Collei! I've missed you." She smiles at Collei. "Same for me Lumine!" They start talking and walk further.

Lumine glares at Childe giving him a sign he should stay out of her business. Dain walks outside putting his hand on Childe's shoulder. "She hates me doesn't she?" Childe asks as they both watch Lumine and Collei walk away.

Collei and Lumine both come back from some shopping. "We're back!!" Lumine says. They walk inside and they're all talking and drinking something. "So Lumine, where are you planning to go to?" Tighnari asks.

"I'm planning to pay a visit in Sumeru city, maybe I'll meet Alhaitham, Kaveh, Nilou, Dehya and whoever are there." When I asked that she didn't reply Childe says in his mind.

"I had some things packed for you, safe travels!" Tighnari mentions. The four of them walk up in some mountains and rest there.

As everyone has fallen asleep, Lumine sits at the corner of the mountain, watching the view. "Can we talk?" She hears a voice say. She just rolls her eyes and keeps watching the view.

"Look.. I'm sorry I didn't tell you."

"You better be."

Childe didn't expect that reaction, she is really mad.

"I really am."

"Yeah I heard that. I'm waiting for an explanation, not for a 'begging for forgiveness', ew."

"Oh yeah. Well I wasn't sure it was him and I didn't wanna ruin ur happiness if it wasn't him."

"U could've just told me."

They remained silent for a bit.

"You better rest Lumine."

"I don't need to, I had enough at Tighnaris."

"Oh, right. If you don't mind I'm going to rest." He stands up.

"I don't."

"Goodnight Lumine."

Lumine didn't sleep, she had enough rest at Tighnari's.

She's still sitting on that spot, trying to make a portal. "Maybe like this.. no." She tries and tries.. but nothing. She looks at the place where the others are resting.

Lumine decides to walk away, she even left Paimon behind. She goes back to the chasm all the way back to the cave.

The moment she enters the cave she gets a little of a headache. She makes the light she has made earlier before. She eventually floats up, making her create the portal. She enters it.
