Alastor POV~

Unable to look away from the curious witch, who stood with her head held high. A Queen-like sternness to her ivy eyes, yet welcoming all the same. Taking methodical elegant steps down from the lofted section of the shop. Shunning. My lips couldn't help parting in awe. Something about the way she held herself in this moment mesmerized me. Yet I couldn't explain this feeling creeping its way from places unknown. Like a young boy finally noticing a crush, or perhaps something more? A Mate? With widened eyes, no, it couldn't be possible.

Without another word spoken, the witch forcibly took hold of my hand. Turning on her heel in a furious rush. Squeezing my hand tightly so I didn't escape. Not that I would want to at this moment in time. Dragging me to the back towards a large door. Rushing passed the few customers sitting in their own secluded sections, separated by mismatched shelves filled to the brim. Piles in the shape of mountains scattered along with stacks towering precariously tall.

Catching a brief glimpse of the layout. Little witch pulled me past it all. Was this a mistake after all. As the blonde woman yelled at us, asking questions confused just as I. Ms Zippel didn't respond to any of them completely ignoring the employee. Shoving me into a small room the wooden door opened too.

Quickly shutting the door with a soft yet firm slam. Locking it, as her employee frantically knocked. A feeling of bone chilling coldness grew thick. Watching her carefully place a spell over the door. Realizing that now I was without a doubt trapped. Oh fuck this was a terrible mistake. My innermost thoughts are screaming with anxiety. Beginning to worry about the choices that lead me here. Tension in the small room was choking each breath I took. Even through this overwhelming shadow that grew. Somehow my heart was calm. Something small whispered to me to wait and see.

Ms Zippel turned to face me leaning back against the wooden door. A look of frustrated defeat sighing heavily. Those hypnotic pools of green appeared to be contemplating. Seconds turned into minutes, but felt as though hours were passing by.. Keeping a calm and collected composure while I wait this entirety. I can't tell her about these feelings. Not yet. Lump in my throat is growing larger. Her scent filled my lungs like a fire.

I need to wait..

Ember POV~

The cold hard door helped ground me. Not wishing to become lost in my aggravated panic. Processing the reality I'm witnessing. Watching this demon from just earlier today come rushing into my very shop. It can't be a coincidence. From the loft I had a full view. Atop the stairs after helping a customer, feeling the blood drain. Doing everything in my power to stay calm while watching him interact with Sam. Him being so close to her frightened me. Nearly casting a vine trap to kick him right back out that door. Hearing him asking for me. Sent light tingles, no sparks, down my neck. Irritating all the same. I couldn't allow him to chat up anyone else.

Finally calm enough to think clearer, gazing up to the arrogant demon. Brows knitted together with a fierce rage at his sheer audacity. Charging at him waving a stern finger. "The fuck do you think you are doing?! Coming here! Following me here! To my business of all places!!" Shouting like my life depended on it. Cornering him against the wall.

Standing there not taking his brown pools off me. "Are you here to collect souls by murdering? To sow chaos somehow!? Did you follow me to cause harm to me and those around me?! What?!" i exclaimed, keeping the pressure on him. Perhaps I hadn't calmed down enough. I didn't give him a chance to respond thus far.

Getting out of his face with a step back. My eyes turned to slits once he lifted his hands up in surrender. I place my hands on my hips, awaiting his response. As my patience ran low.
