Congratulations to NatashaBrown608 and inkandscribbles for getting the correct answer!

Derek sighed as Fionnuala left the room. He knew she'd be upset, but he didn't know she'd be this upset.

She didn't look mad. In fact, she looked calm. Too calm. Any human would think she was controlling her frustration in an amazing way. But he knew better. He could smell the anger that was emanating from her as she left.

"I f*cked up," he muttered. "Royally f*cked up."

Meanwhile, Fionnuala went to the kitchen to calm down and begin dinner.

30 minutes later, Derek walked in and found her stirring something on the stove. He smiled as he caught a whiff of the pasta she was cooking. He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, leaning down and placing a kiss on her cheek.

"I'm sorry," he whispered.

"For what?" she answered.

"For not listening to you."

"Did you want me keeping an eye on you?"

"Well, yeah. Kinda."

"You could've just asked, Derek."

"Seems kinda weird though, right?"

"Well, maybe. But instead of going against what I said and exerting yourself all the while knowing I wouldn't be happy about it, you should've just asked." She turned around to look at him. "Do I need my boyfriend getting killed anytime soon?"

He smiled down at her. "No."

"Exactly. I know you don't like the hot packs, but you need to leave them on, Derek. Go lie back down. I'll be there in a bit."

"No need. They're still attached to my side." He lifted his sweater that he had slipped on before going to the kitchen, revealing the hot packs still attached to his side. "I'm sorry, Isolde. I really am."

She sighed, turning back to the stove. "I really care about you, Derek. And the fact that you don't take your injuries as seriously as you should bothers me. A lot. The little ones don't matter, but the big ones do. Do you not get that?"

"I will use my words in the future," he told her. "Now, what's for dinner?"

After dinner, Fionnuala sat next to Derek on his bed as she did her homework.

As soon as it was complete and in her bag, Derek pulled her into a hug.

"What do I need to do to make you happy again?" he asked. "Seeing you upset isn't my favorite thing in the world."

"And being upset isn't my favorite thing in the world. But look where we are."

"Soooo, what can I do to make you happy again?"

She turned her head to look at him. "I have an idea."

"Alright. I'll do anything."

"Even exercise?"

"No. That made my girlfriend upset. I'm trying to make her happy."

"Good answer." A smile crossed her face.

"Oh, before we continue, I would like to request something."

"What?"

"That you come meet the rest of the pack tomorrow and teach them how to survive."

"So you weren't joking when you said you wanted me to teach them."
