It had been an interesting week nevertheless. Ranza had never spent so much time around Uncle, and now she knew what Javier was talking about when he groused regarding the older man. He was quite insufferable, as well as his lumbago, apparently.

Javier had kept a close eye on her, he too became a bit much for the woman at some points. You'd think the way he was acting she actually lost her arm, but luckily; that wasn't the case.

Luckily for her; Javier had talked Arthur into going fishing, after he decided maybe it wasn't the greatest idea that Ranza went quite yet.

Upon her lovers departure , she decided she was going to make a trip to Rhodes. It had been quite the sight watching her attempt to saddle her horse up, ending in Kieran coming over and taking the small job over.

Cancíon was excited to get out after the time he was stuck being a camp horse. Though he could be a strong horse, he wouldn't ever do anything more than an awkward hop.

The ride was quite soothing, the Lemoyne air almost reminded her of home sometimes. The red dirt roads kicked up near the dust, though people seemed to be a bit more easily read up here. Her and Javier had yet to go into town to get a new shirt, so she was still stuck in his button up. (Not that either of them complained.)

It didn't take her very long to make it into the town, soon enough she was right back in the middle of the dusty red dirt town of Rhodes. She kept a sharp eye around the town for any people who she deemed untrustworthy, or maybe who acted as they knew her.

She pulled to a stop in front of the general store, and slid off the side of her horse carefully, before she tied him up to the hitching post. She ascended the stairs up to the store, before she opened the door.

"Ah miss!" She was immediately greeted, her head snapping over to the familiar man who sells jewelry, his booth back up at the moment. Everton? If her memory remembered correctly, that was his name. "Oh, hello." she murmured. Tipping her head to him softly.

"I don't believe I ever got your last name..." he pointed out, suggesting she should tell him. "Wait. Actually, you were with that man. Escuella than, yes?" He said before she could respond. She furrowed her brows, not remembering Javier saying his last name. "Sure..." she nodded slowly.

He smiled widely. "Now... I have a job- just to see if I could trust you. If it goes well, I can give you bigger jobs." he said, offering his work to her with hands gesturing. She hesitated for a minute, Daniel's face faltering at this in partial annoyance. "Or not.. If you don't." he sniffed slightly.

Ranza hesitated for a minute, before looking over at him and giving in. "Okay... what is it?" She asked in a mumble.

The mans face lit up at this and he quicklu nodded. "Okay, Okay. The tailor on Saint Denis- A close friend of mine, has a wagon running up to AnnesBurg, to ship out. Well, he needs someone to help guard the wagon. What do you say?"

A look of contemplation crossed her face. Her eyes shown a lack of trust, but nevertheless she nodded. "I can do that. Just tell me when, and where." Daniel smiled pointedly, "Actually, it needs to go sometime before Saturday... you could probably go down there now. I'll just.. write a letter up for you." He murmured, looking for a piece of paper, grabbing a pencil and writing quickly.

Daniel tore the top sheet off of the notestack and folded the piece carefully. "That should do, just go into the shop, he'll tell you from there." He explained, a grateful look aimed towards her. "Thank you."
